The Etruscan connection is interesting. in the Villanovan/Early Etruscan necropolis of Vetulonia 50 mostly complete Nuragic askoid jugs were discovered in the 19th century excavations. But Nuragic finds in Etruria both of Nuragic pottery and bronze artifacts include the sites of Populonia, Bologna/Felsina, Vulci, Veii, Lake Trasimeno, Roselle, San Rocchino, Tarquinia, Gravisca, Pontecagnano and Montevetrano.
Nuragic obejcts were also found in Calabria (A bronze Nuragic ship) and Sicily: 89 fragments of Nuragic pottery, both imported and locally produced (this is important as it testifies the presence of Sardnians there) from Cannatello, near Agrigento, dated to the 13th century bc, and also Nuragic pottery was found in Dessueri/Monte Maio, Pantalica, Lipari and Motya. Nuragic pottery was found as far as Crete, Cyprus, North Africa and Iberia, roughly 340-350 Nuragic vases have been found in Iberia, especially in the site of Huelva, where the Nuragic trays were also locally made.

I really appreciate that you are always stating unequivocally that we do not know much about those long bygone times and that you allow for those peoples to travel and trade ideas and goods.

The Nuraghe civilization is yet another interesting and mysterious culture to discover. In regards of Atlantis speculation, I think that a possible site would be in Mauritania, near the Atlantis mountains, right in the Richat structure also known as "The Eye of the Desert". The geology and climate of that area were totally different thousands of years ago. And even more speculating, it could even be the origin of the Evil Eye superstition, considering the fate of Atlantis... (or at least it's the basis for a great fiction story!)

Isn't it more likely that the northern Sardinians were early competitors, turned trade partners of the Truschi pre 1200bce and eventually became a Client State in and around 1000bce, and over time through intermarriage, an Etruscan settlement around 700bce. Perhaps After an event like you describe.

The ancient Sardinians were probably the Tyrrhenians / Pelasgians of whom the ancients spoke, such as Thucydides. That is, of the "peoples of the sea" . Tyrrenian derives from the term tursenoi, that is, builders of towers. And the ancient Sardinians built towers having the most impressive Bronze Age civilization in Europe. They were probably also related to the Achaeans, the Ekwesh (Achaeans) were a people of the sea just like the sardana, or sherdana (Sardinians)

Very interesting but unfortunately the Sardinians left no written records so despite very interesting connections and names called also by the Greeks as "Tower People" and the demise of this civilization, by tidal waves, so it will remain elusive regarding this civilization. I knew that the Etruscans had many contacts with the Sardinians but also with many people around the Mediterranean Sea. Please keep posting as I'm looking forward to your next video 👍 👍👍

Great research, and full of new info. The tribe who stayed in their boats, the Dan tribe, Philistines, Samson etc. The symbol of the Dan tribe is a snake.

Perhaps they were talking about a different tower. Perhaps those people worshiped a water deity too. Enki/Dagon/Poseidon You know, the tower people.
