When I salmon fish in my state I have to constantly dodge other boats, but in most all of the Kodiak videos I see there is no other boat IN SIGHT. Nice!
I DO TOO, I WAS ASSIGNED TO KODIAK as USCG HELO PILOT. I ATE ELK MEAT FROM THERE. OFF COURSE HABITAT, SILVERS, KING CRAY and FISH TOO; DOUG A FEW CLAMS and so forth. PINKs WERE ONLY USEFUL FOR BAIT. Pops
Just pick up the rod and start reelling it in. No need for the multiple hook sets.. Most likely why you lost so many fish! Other than that great video.

I was thinking the same thing. One if the owners of the charter company I use in Oregon always reminds me not to set the hook
