Thermal Mike... I had to order two different of these cases due to bad shipping damage! I contacted Anthony R. at your customer service number, he was incredibly helpful through the RMA process. You guys took very good care of me. I am really happy with you guys. Keep up the good work
I just got the RGB view 71 last night, I had the P5 but my son keeps poking the fans with his little fingers since it's an open case, this one however hits the nail in the head with all the glass and class!
For anyone still curious about his storage placement, he used an M.2 drive on the top slot (just under the CPU, not the one under the PCI slots). There are slots for up two 6 drives on the back side of the motherboard. With his setup, you'd remove two of the three panels to allow for the vertical radiator placement, but you still have screw holes to mount two SSDs directly behind the motherboard. For those asking about radiator and fan placement, keep in mind that this is technically an open case due to the large gaps around the glass panels. You'll want to have more fans facing in to create positive pressure, which will make sure dust doesn't immediately get sucked into the openings around the sides of the case. The only real difference in the Riing fans is RGB vs solid color. The RGB tends to run $20-40 more for a 3-pack than if you can settle for a static white/red/blue light setup.
This is what ive been waiting for. I have a v71 and couldnt find a tempered glass case with the flexibility and space . Ill be able to transfer my components with no issues. Its really to bad that it has no usb c
I just bought the V71 and V91 case where I was planning on doing a full scale water cooling build on the V91 and just a trad AIO/air-cooled build on the 71. But after watching this I think I had better custom-cool both cases now lol.
I love this case, fits the 4090 very easily with tons of radiator space. The only con is that I have a giant mobo and it covers the wire go through on the side. For a tower case, it doesn't seem to have good eatx support.
You guys built everything I ever wanted in a computer case... the only things I can gripe on are the facts that its not a mid tower, and there is no PSU shroud... I have this case on order... I feel like this is going to be a very painless build with all that space in there!
Tons of space in here and great to work with. Might be a little late, but if you wanted a mid tower with a psu cover, it's all View 31 then! We have a couple new View models for everyone maybe reading so check them all out and see what works best for you :)
The thing I did not like about the 31 is the front panel fan spot. It seems a little choked off. I like to get a lot of flow for intake fans... the 71 seemed a bit more open. That was another big part of it.
Thanks for the response! Got the 71 on the way with the PCIe riser cable you guys sell. I have been thinking about getting into your DIY cooling... people keep telling me to avoid your aluminum radiators though, I am sure you hear that all the time! Thanks for the support, you guys answer emails I truly appreciate that.
Just loved the build, I would like to know, What does it call, on which the View 71 is sitted and moving 360 so fluently? What is that "White Circular" base called which is on Table top ?
Yea, information on that was pretty scarce, I ended up buying the thermaltake 300mm to be safe, for the fittings and the length and it worked fine for me, but its shitty of them to have 0 information, nice case, dodgy company.
I just purchased this case (RGB w/2 140 Fans in the Front 1 Exhaust in the back) I have a watercooler 2x140 fans RGB Should I make the watercooler blow air outside the case, or use as intake for lowest tempreture?
Normally I absolute hate water-cooling because I have lost a AMD Phenom II computer with the most expensive mainboard available in 2010 because of a tube on the CPU cooler inlet suddenly starting to leak. Are there already coolant liquids available on the market which absolute zero risk of short-circuits, not damaging anything even when leaking into a reverse-mounted PSU fan grill?
So how did you connect all the fans? Did you just use a fan hub? How many fan headers did you use on the mobo? Im also wondering how do you control fan and pump speeds? Is it all done with software?
Is there a more detailed video/list of the install or parts Thermal Mike? Also any tips on custom piping? I'm scrapping my old Tia Chi case due to flex rubber hoses. Done with them cracking!
Hi my name is mark.I just purchased this case and had an issues with the hinges on the side glass.the screws are about a couple mm short. I am not able to attach the brackets on both sides.
I’m trying to buy this case but But I want to buy 4 more fans but I want them to be the same as the one that the case has the 71 rgb of course. Could you tell which fans to buy and do I need to buy any more comand box to connect them please help I really like the case.
If I install a 360mm radiator setup on the "Right" side, will that interfere with my HDD/SDD mounting on the back side? I'm going to be mounting 5 total HDD/SDD's on the back.
excellent build i also am going to build a rig with this case, i think though iam going to have it sprayed white as i have seen some other builds that looked unbelievable using white and even an LCD stat screen on the front
No idea if you folks at ThermalTake still check this video or not.. But got one question for ya! I am planning a major PC Build with this years tax-return, and this case popped up on my radar (actually the View 31, its baby brother did first, then i saw this one ;) ). My question is... with the Vertical Mount for the GPU. IF i plan to use both of the PCIE slots on my Motherboard for M.2 SSD's.. how long of a Ribbon would i need to use in order to not worry about anything 'pressing' against the M.2 SSD's, or any sharp 'bends' in the ribbon itself? From what ive seen, there's a 200mm version (which i think will be to short.) A 300mm version (which might work), and a 600mm version (which may be to long? but might be needed if the 300mm is not long enough.) Have you guys done any builds with M.2's in both PCIE slots on a MB yet? or even with just the top PCIE holding a M.2 SSD. IF ya have, what length of ribbon did you use? I really want to make use of that vertical mount GPU option, but i also want to use M.2's for my OS.
Can you please make a video of the draining process I'm starting my build and I'm clueless how to flush using the tray u described. I have the view 71 tg rgb case.
I have ordered the view 71 version 2 times in a row but always comes in the mail damage. I noticed the Materials used in the case not including the window which was very thin and easily can be dented. So my question is this" Has the case become more sturdy so when shipped will not be damaged. I love the look of the case but i wanted to know if is more reliable and can take more of a beating then when it wasn't tempered glass?" Also, how is the air flow if you happen to not use liquid cooling for the build. I will be doing liquid cooling in the future but with aluminum parts.
I want to pick up the v71, but i'm nervous about liquid cooling as I've never done it. I thought starting with an AIO system would be a good jumping in point. Do you have any recommendations?
I bought this case. I ended up having to buy new motherboard mounting screws since they coated the insides on the screws they sent and they would not fit each other. Other then that I love the case.
hi mike, how do you hook up those 13 fans to the motherboard, i'm planning my first water cooled pc and no one really explain this part thanks!, nice tutorial by the way!!
if they are PWM fans, 10 of them can be connected to a Fan Hub like the Thermaltake Commander. That wil connect to just one M/B-PWM-Fan-Connector and offer 10 connectors for your fans.. if your MoBo has for example 3x adjustable PWM Connectors, you could connect up to 30 PWM Fans by using those Hubs.
Hi was watching your build guide....which was going great until you got to 1.18 where you totally skipped how you actually installed the mother board and io etc....as a beginner to pc building....would have loved you to show this and not skip it! Anyway..will see what I can figure out....thanks.
right on the back, no real good places that I can tell. If you choose to populate your HDD and SDD on the back then you're kinda just sticking them where ever there's room fyi.
Joe Momma If you mean a dual loop, then theoretically, yes, but by how much will all depend on what you do with your system. If you're just using it for work or light gaming, then you would probably not see enough difference for it to be worth it. But if you plan on heavily overclocking and intense rendering and editing, then it could be useful. But right now, for me anyways, there's no point.
about to set up my first pc build and i love your thermaltake view 71 rgb edition, but im a little scare when it comes to liquid cooling, hope to do it right so wish me luck, and by the way nice video
Mario Perez do your homework if you want to dive into custom loops. Don't forget the View 71 is perfect for larger 360mm AIO solutions as well. You can always upgrade down the road, but for me it's all about the Custom Loops ;)
I just bought the RGB edition of this case for my very first build ever. I'm still not brave enough to go with a custom loop anytime soon, so I'm going with the TT 360mm AIO for the first take on the build. GL everyone. :D
Hello Mike, im currently doing a P7 build and facing an issue for the cable length for my fan on the left and right chassis. The connector wire that suppose to connect the controller from left and right chassis to PSU is too short which is unable to reach my psu, any idea how to fix it..?
x Jinyong I can understand that on the P7. Granted I have not built with this case, you may have to get some extensions depending on the fans you went with. Check Amazon for extensions :)
Awesome build I'm actually basing a build very similar to this! I was wandering though is there an issue with galvanic corrosion with the radiator being an aluminum alloy and the cpu/gpu block being copper base and nickel core and copper fittings?
The Side mount is an airflow desaster when it comes to 420mm Rad and side plus front Rad won't work anyways..i just got the snow edition and am really disappointed. X-flow radiators (any thickness) in 360 or 420 mm are physically incompatible to the side mount. Dust Filters in the Top (where Fans usually blow warm air "out") making no sense, as they just slow down exhausting process of warm air, if Dust wants to leave my case, well, why would i keep it inside the case by using an air filter?
Hello Mike, Can you give some tips how to build draining system in View 71 for the bottom side of RL360 Radiator put on the front horizontally, please?
This case comes with 2 drive case racks to house 4 drives. Q: Does the case racks hold SSD drives too? Q: How can i buy 2 more case racks to stack them on top of the others?
Hello Mike! can you show a more detailed view of the drain system, im getting ready to build my first custom loop using TT parts, and i want to know more about it, so i dont made any mistakes T.T Thanks! xD
Walter Cañizalez Hi, we sell a drain kit if you want to check it out to get an idea. Basically your main part is the drain valve, the rest is for how you want it to go. Let me know anything specific you need help with :)
Thermal Mike thanks Mike I just saw the kit in the website, for the moment I think it's out of stock, I will wait to buy it and try it out, I will let u know how it goes! Thanks.
This is a nice case however not without problems. Misalignment of thumb screw holes in glass panels, rubber feet easily come off and they do leave black marks on surfaces. All of the screws except 2 were stripped out in storage racks which is just a pain now for installation. I did not expect these kinds of quality control issues on a case of this price. Great size with great looks but quality control is lacking. I should be able to get my parts and just do my build not have to figure out how to fix case issues!
Just something simple... How to install a 3.25 HDD to a Versa C21 case. The instructions say, "Place HDD on proper location and secure with screws." I don't see how.
thanks for this cool reviev in 2 parts! i really enjoied it to watch, but pls seperate the microphone from the table. the "bump" everytime u hit the table with ur fist was so anoying. :D sorry for bad english ;)
Hi, I want to add 2 rtx 2080 ti with water cooler. and i already have cpu water cooler radiator in top. how is it possible for two fan radiator for each gpu.
matthew trivok The fans that come with have brightness options. For the fans we used, Riing Plus Fans, brightness and everything else is all controlled and saved with the software. Check it out!
Noise is not a problem with TT fans, we have a nice balance with options for adjustment so if you want it full speed or just when needed, we got you covered.
I was talking more about the GPU fan noise. I'm buying it for air cooling for my new PC even tho every build seems to do water cooling with this case, but i like the case :)
This would be a hands down no-brainer purchase if they somehow supported 2 riser slots for sli. All these cases support riser GPU mounts but only 1 :( Don't you know us enthusiasts use SLI.
Would like to know this as well. Not sure whether to go with the 200mm (7") or the 300mm (12'). My setup is identical to this but with an AIO TTO Cooler.
You can't fit a 420mm on the top and another one on the right like the box says. No wonder thermalmike used 360mm radiators. Now I have to resell one of the thermaltake copper radiators I bought
ATTENTION!!! Only TT-Branded Risercables will work with the View 71 TG cases, no matter if black/blue, rgb or snow edition.. other manufacturers mounting hole positions arte not compatible!!
Lars loves Tech I unfortunately don't know right now. Keep watching for it. If I hear anything I will try to update. Great case to build in, thx for the support!

Can this case allow for 4xHDD and 4xSSD while having this particular watercool configuration?

Is it possible to mount the top radiator on top of the case, above the fans? How much clearance is in the top bay?
Was really hoping to see the cable management on the back since it's exposed.
10:48 really sloppy controlers everywhere cables running all through the middle
You guys built everything I ever wanted in a computer case... the only things I can gripe on are the facts that its not a mid tower, and there is no PSU shroud... I have this case on order... I feel like this is going to be a very painless build with all that space in there!

Another top notch build Mike. I can't wait to build my Tower 900.
C Bou thx for the feedback. Looking forward to your Tower build too :)
Just loved the build, I would like to know, What does it call, on which the View 71 is sitted and moving 360 so fluently? What is that "White Circular" base called which is on Table top ?
look on Amazon for something called rotary base / lazy susan, you get the idea of them, which could allow you to make your own base
Ok man that tube work is tops, creative thinking man really impressed
You are so FANatic.
do you have information about Riser Cable??? type? Long? etc etc?
Yea, information on that was pretty scarce, I ended up buying the thermaltake 300mm to be safe, for the fittings and the length and it worked fine for me, but its shitty of them to have 0 information, nice case, dodgy company.
that's all I needed, great built gonna try and copy ur bends lol lets call them free style bends. will be sending u pics of the build soon
I just purchased this case (RGB w/2 140 Fans in the Front 1 Exhaust in the back) I have a watercooler 2x140 fans RGB Should I make the watercooler blow air outside the case, or use as intake for lowest tempreture?
what kind of tubing do you use in your video? or would you recommend to people who don't want to use hard straight tubes for their system?
will be getting this tower once it hits in DK! awesome looking with nice features!

Does it support 420mm radiators? It would be insane with
Triple 140mm fans
love the new view 71 tg
good job on the build i wonder which is look
better 12mm rigid tube or a 16mm rigid tube for this case going to get this in few weeks
Jerome San Gabriel 16mm OD all the way. Fill the case up, the 12mm looks like McDonald's straws, never been a fan...

My x570 gaming x board will not fit in this case due to the built in io shield not getting proper clearance. Any advice would be appreciated.
I bought this case. I ended up having to buy new motherboard mounting screws since they coated the insides on the screws they sent and they would not fit each other. Other then that I love the case.
Can you put a 280mm on top with fans facing down. Because i didnt see this in any build yet, only fans facing up and worried it might not fit.
Can you please explain how you synced all the fans up for RGB? Having a hard time syncing my Floe Riig fans up with my case fans.
Ok thank you I find super nice this case and bigger I must mount a pc and that is what I must wait.
hi mike, how do you hook up those 13 fans to the motherboard, i'm planning my first water cooled pc and no one really explain this part thanks!, nice tutorial by the way!!

With a filter on top, are you pushing in by the top?
You should make a video on cable management for this case because it’s a mess to deal with this problem
lol, yeah my only real complain so far. Esp those thick TT fan cables.
TheSmilingLord where do you put your rgb controller?
right on the back, no real good places that I can tell. If you choose to populate your HDD and SDD on the back then you're kinda just sticking them where ever there's room fyi.
TheSmilingLord I’m using the sticky tape and putting it on one of the rack for hdd/add which I’m not using and might not use.
What size is the cable for your GPU??? Thank you
Richard
Would a dual pump set up provide better cooling?
One pump dedicated for CPU and the other dedicated for GPU.
Joe Momma
If you mean a dual loop, then theoretically, yes, but by how much will all depend on what you do with your system. If you're just using it for work or light gaming, then you would probably not see enough difference for it to be worth it. But if you plan on heavily overclocking and intense rendering and editing, then it could be useful. Personally, I don't see a need for it, and it would be mainly aesthetic if I ever integrated that into my build. Don't get me wrong, if I had the money, I'd do it, and it would look badass. But right now, for me anyways, there's no point.

Just do yourself a favor and stay away from Aluminum, it’s just a bad situation waiting to happen.
HOW LONG IS THE PCIE RISED CABLE FOR INSTALL VERTICAL GPU?? 200 MM?
The Side mount is an airflow desaster when it comes to 420mm Rad and side plus front Rad won't work anyways..i just got the snow edition and am really disappointed. Thermal Mike what size tubing you use in this build?
Hello Mike,
Can you give some tips how to build draining system in View 71 for the bottom side of RL360 Radiator put on the front horizontally, please?
There is actually a trap door on the front at the bottom for draining a fluid
If I have my aio to the right of the mobo can I fit my card In without having it vertical ? (3080)
Would have been awesome if you spent 10 seconds showing the fan controller.
Can we use this case without water cooling system and use this with liquid cooler
Very cool
i'm going to get this case thanks for the video xD
OMG it's hilarious. Very very nice. It's a shame for me that I got the view 31 already. I wished I waited for this one to be released.
can you fit a Asus ROG Rampage VI Extreme with any problems
Will it fit a Zotac GTX 1070 Amp Extreme Vertical Mount?
This case comes with 2 drive case racks to house 4 drives.
Q: Does the case racks hold SSD drives too?
Q: How can i buy 2 more case racks to stack them on top of the others?
yes each of the 4 x racks are setup to also take a SSD if you don't want to use them for 3.5" hdd's
When will thermal take come out with a software controlled LED RGB strip.
Ronin4375 working on it and it will be the best led strip you ever owned. Watch our sneak peek from Computex 2017 for info on what's still to come.
i wanna see the next tower view 91 TG!
Any advantage of having an aio cooler on the side vs the top?

Im buying this case, much better then the NZXT 510i elite case
Can you but Some where pre bend tubes somewhere im not good at iT and not looking to f up my Savings for later upgrading pls respond thanks
to mount vertically how long of a extender riser would you need to get

Anyone know when this case will be on sale in the UK?
Just a quick pricing and availability question for you for uk residents any info on that please
Zzeddd I am not sure from USA side. Keep watching they should be available soon if not already.

VERY Nice
Hi, I want to add 2 rtx 2080 ti with water cooler. and i already have cpu water cooler radiator in top. how is it possible for two fan radiator for each gpu.
Make two loops. But I would just hook them up in one loop
Is it possible to disable all the lights? I don't like them while watching movies.
Hows the noise levels? It seems a bit open.
matthew trivok The fans that come with have brightness options.
That's great, thanks.
est ce que un jour le view 91 presenter au computex 2017 sortira
Why don't the case have a USB 3.1 conecton on top of the case ? can't se the need of 2 USB 2 on the top!
Ed Dale not all motherboards have that header if any
does the 3 RGB fan on the front comes pre installed when we buy view 71?
No
what length riser are you using?
Does the tubes and all that come included
Who was stomping on the ceiling?
How thick of a radiator on top can I have?
This would be a hands down no-brainer purchase if they somehow supported 2 riser slots for sli. All these cases support riser GPU mounts but only 1 :( Don't you know us enthusiasts use SLI.
Nice review Mike. I have question regarding the vertical mounting. is it possible to add two evga 2080 TI FTW3?
I wore one of those necklaces in the 80's.
can you guide me to where i can get this done in Pakistan :( i have this case but no one here has the expertise to do all this
TabIsh90 hahaaaa u noob :D
hahahahahaahah you found me XD
Case looks great, couldn’t finish the video....
What was the length of the riser cable?
Would like to know this as well. Not sure whether to go with the 200mm (7") or the 300mm (12'). My setup is identical to this but with an AIO TTO Cooler.
Twitch-Turbo-TFT I ended up getting the 200mm. I think you could do the 300mm and it would also be just fine.

No word about a fan controller (not RGB case) or how to connect all these fans - nicely skipped!
Its a View 71 from thermaltake.... It comes with the fans, The fan controller.
It's fucking common sense you POS. Use your brain for once.

You can't fit a 420mm on the top and another one on the right like the box says. No wonder thermalmike used 360mm radiators. Now I have to resell one of the thermaltake copper radiators I bought
tutorial on lighting set up??? please
ATTENTION!!! Only TT-Branded Risercables will work with the View 71 TG cases, no matter if black/blue, rgb or snow edition.. other manufacturers mounting hole positions arte not compatible!!
hello mike...so have also commented in part 1 of the vid but thought i would also troll here too...LOL...AVAILABILITY IN THE UK PLEASE...HAHAHA
Lars loves Tech I unfortunately don't know right now. Keep watching for it. If I hear anything I will try to update. Great case to build in, thx for the support!
How tf do you install the disk drive?
what length is the GPU extender ?
Can you do SLI ?
