So I lied. We have some good and bad news for John Cena. Let’s talk about the bad news first. John Cena recently said on The Pat McAfee show that he won’t be retiring at 50 anymore. He said it would be even earlier. But there is some good news.

I hate to admit it, but I think Cena’s done. His in ring ability over the last 5 years has fallen off a cliff. In 2024 it’s wild to say that The Rock is a better wrestler than Cena, BUT ITS TRUE 😅
After seeing Cena’s lacklustre matches with Theory and Solo, I have little hopes for a good title run.

The John Cena nostalgia run if it happens until 2026 that's fine Cena knows he's slowing down and he can tick some goals out of his Bucket list win his 1st intercontinental championship, have some dream matches and most importantly enjoy what he's doing. Some matches during this Nostalgia run could be Rock vs Cena 3, Cena vs whoever the IC champion is, Cena vs Waller, Cena vs Dragunov, Cena vs Randy Orton one last time ect

I think Cena should win the championship one last time. But this time have him actually be the underdog by playing up the fact that he hasnt won a singles match since 2018.
If there is ever a time for John Cena to turn heel or having a chance to have one last title run I’m all for it until he officially retires.
It would not make sense making him heel right now it’s just it would be boring and so fast , i think a title run yeah it would be awesome so he can break Ric Flair’s record or be the new intercontinental champion so he complete the Grand Slam Champion

It’s gonna be a very sad day when he officially hangs up his wristbands and cap; besides Jeff Hardy and Stone Cold, John was my favorite growing up and still is. He has had one of the most memorable careers of all time. And he is actually one of few wrestlers that can take criticism. He is truly the GOAT.

Cena deserves one last world title run, I'd say he should win the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, and the IC championship at some point. Maybe he can win the tag titles for a month to elevate a wrestler. But yeah, Cena deserves one last good run. I don't think he should turn heel, it would be cool but I just don't think it's worth it. Cena should be a face when he retires. If they can make him a heel before he's done, go for it!

Cena should definitely win the ic title to become a grand slam champion. He also needs to overtake ric flair for world titles.
