superbe groupe ! très inventif et quels musiciens ! j'ai eu le plaisir de les écouter et voir à Capbreton (France) pour Les Déferlantes Francophones ...
Saw the band in Dillingham Alaska in Mar. 2007. Great show, some of the band members had colds, but put on a great show. Went out and brought a CD I still listen to. don't speak French, but love the music.
Just saw these guys 30 mins ago at Marigold cultural centre Truro Novia Scotia Canada. damn he can play a violin. Didn't understand one word in French but my foot was tapping like crazy.
Ohh wow!!! If I wouldn't have read I would have thought this was a band from Lafayette Louisiana by Acadia Parish. Pardon me for not speaking French. Unfortunately a law was passed in the 1930s forcing school children to learn and speak English. My grandmother was severely paddled for accidentally speaking French. The oppression is deep. I love your familiar last names. My last name is Breaux. You guys would love the music here. Like us Cajuns say laissez le bon temps rouler
saw you all live in 2001 and 2002 when you all were at Blue Mountain High School in Schuylkill Haven, PA!! Amazing show and I still have the pictures you all graciously took with my friends and I. Your performances are amazing!
Years ago I had the privilege of assisting with the sound when they came to S. FL. They were awesome then and still are. I loved how they performed for the local school kids; teaching them about their culture and music. Check out the drummer, he stands when he plays! Unique!
The dancing and music that starts at 3:45 is beautiful. Is there a name for this type of dance? Saw Grand Derangement at North Texas Irish festival 2013. What an amazing collection of musical talent!
Pierre yes, lovely, but those are Acadians, not Cajuns. Same blood, same last names, pretty much same dialect, but a couple hundred years apart in cultures. Nice to see the flags in the crowd. Tim-(11th generation Acadian)-Comeau
its like american country, celtic (lobe the fiddle btw), et francais! Mais je ne comprende pas qu'ils dites! (but i dont know what they are saying) theyre kind of cool
@timcomeau Actually theyre not hundreads of years in cultures. when the acadiens were deported they becae cajuns, along with the people in louisianna, Louisianna was under Spanish rule during the 1700's and im a decendant of Pierre Comeau, whom was deported in the deportation. i know my culture.

Decades later, this is still an awesome performance! I wish they were still performing. ❤
