    I looked up a product called Xylitol, make sure when you buy any product to feed animals that it is not part of the ingredients. It is even bad for birds, and since the dollar store does not carry regular brands, it is good to take a look before you buy it.

      Xylitol is an artificial sweetener. What other things that wouldn't be in peanut butter would you like people to check for? How about carpet tacks? Or maybe razor blades? Cyanide?

    • @garyjordan2019
      @garyjordan2019 3 роки тому +1

      @@oldcountryman2795 You are correct that it is an artificial sweetener. However, a simple google search shows that it is used in at least 5 brands that produce peanut butter as well as other items. And those brands could show up at a dollar store for the uninformed consumer The only positive Xyltitol has over sugar is that it has fewer calories like that old brand "Sweet & Low",but is bad if consumed by animals like dogs & birds.

Blue Bird boxes brought lots of babies and many of them stick around at least for a while. Just this year they took an interest in the feeders. I was surprised myself since they are all about the bugs but they seem to have taken a shine to the peanut suet and one feeder that has a nut mix in it.
