      @@beetlejuice4693 If you have a SurRon, yes you'll need to unplug the brake sensor from the controller. It's not a hard thing to do and can always be reversed if you want in the future ;)

    Also always look out at the horizon and never down at your bike or the ground. And balance point doesn't matter as much when you have a torquey throttle and a good back brake. And I definitely agree with 2 feet on the pegs. Moving your knees and hips is more than enough to shift balance.

    Here’s how you actually learn. Don’t be scared to get hurt pain only lasts for a couple seconds and you get over it.
    Once you realize pain isnt even that painful you will learn fast. Your mind keeps telling you avoid all pain but when you do get hurt it’s not even that bad.

      That's not what stopped me from learning, it was being scared to hurt my bike and be without one cuz I wouldn't be able to afford to buy another immediately lmao. This was my one and only motorcycle though (CB500F). If I had a second bike tho or a surron? shiiiiit, I'm doin it. One day!

    Lock those elbow when you pull back like your benching 150lbs and look at the horizon. And walk it as you follow the balance point. Use the brake if you have to and keep your finger on it 1/3 of the way.. good video. Keep practicing.

    I must be weak af because I couldn't imagine being able to hold the bike up when its on the back wheel like that. like how do you just bring the wheel up so easily and have it stop and not fall over or have it pull you over?

    • @Overmotor
      @Overmotor  5 місяців тому +2

      You don't actually need to be strong at all! You use the torque to your advantage to basically "fall backwards" and then use a combination of the throttle and brake to balance yourself. Trust me, at first it feels like you can't lift the bike up but after a couple of hours on a field you'll start to understand how to "pop" the bike up and get a feeling for how much torque to give it. Practice makes perfect!

      @@Overmotor I already know the first time I try this im going to loop the bike and faceplant. I once tried wheeling and when the wheel got too high I let go of the bars and somehow managed to not come off the bike at like 20mph. I just don't feel like I trust myself enough to either not go too fast or not let off the throttle in time.

    There's bunch of videos of ppl riding wheelies on a stealth bomber. I got a freego x2 coming .. it better be able to ride wheelies. 3000w hub motor 60v

    • @Overmotor
      @Overmotor  2 місяці тому

      It really all depends on the motor. Since it's a hub motor and not a mid drive, you have to think of the coil winding for them as having a mid drive motor with a different sprocket size. You can either get one that has higher torque and low top speed, or a low torque and high top speed. It's one of the downsides to hub motors, being that unlike a mid drive motor you can't change a sprocket size to automatically change your torque and speed. The people you see wheeling the hub motors have the higher torque winding. Hoping it works out!
