Dude! I love your intro with the Manatees!! you nailed that one. I am born and raised in Florida. Lived on east coast, west coast, Keys, seen many beautiful things growing up. I have never seen the manatees on shore in clear water like that. Beautiful. That is a wonder intro, keep up the good work. My son lives in Naples and I go down from Beaufort, SC every once in a while, when I can, to fish with him. I would love to meet you one day. Love your videos, keep up the good work.
Hey JC. Had a great day out in the Everglades fishing with friends. Lots of Fish. Peacocks, Large Mouth Oscars. Bowfin and Myan Cichlids. We all had a great time. Gonna sit back and enjoy the vid. Thanks sir. SeaRobins are pretty hardy. Unless you tore it's gills. I love those Porcupine Fish. They are very fun fish for the Aquarium,, with the right tank mates.. Haha, I just watched one of your older vids and retied all my pompano Crazy jigs with teaser further up the leader. Now you're fishing them together. LOL .Also I just rewatched your first Catch and cook Gaftop sail Cat. LOL The good news is that you know they are great eating. 12 hours of jigging in the Florida Sun is a long time. Cook those fish, Have a big Ice Tea and kick back. Thanks JC. Watch you again next time.
As a Southwestern Floridian I love your content man. Just started getting into fishing and your vids are super helpful and exciting. Keep up the good work I'll have to cop some merch soon!
I fish in that area regularly. It's been tough to pull a pompano out of that area. They are around but few and far between. We did have a great Spanish Mackerel run as well a few weeks ago but that quit as well. Nice video. It's manatee mating season for sure right now. I can't make a cast without seeing manatees chasing each other around.
Love watching your channel! Its great because I dont get to see fish like this ever haha. That one @ 8:00 mark its narly lookin lol. Very nice shots at the start of the video too!
I really appreciated the slow motion scene! Hah, great fishing. Im catching a plane to Tampa in 12 hours to experience Florida fishing for the first time! So excited :)
Hey J.C, next time your out and catch one of those ladyfish cut it into chunks, rig another rod up and soak them on the bottom... redfish and snook will pick them up.
Hello my friend nice to see your new video on happy fishing Wednesday i enjoy seeing your fishing videos 🎣 and your fishing rods and reels reviews I enjoy Pier fishing 🎣 I used to go pier fishing with my dad my dad resntly passed away on Christmas morning of 2021 I also lost my mom on November l0th of 2019 I hope I go pier fishing 🎣 again I enjoy fishing 🎣 fishing is beautiful
Saltwater cats, YUM! My wife and I use a crabcake recipe, but substitute the catfish instead of crab. OMG, it's good. She serves them on a small bed of salad and some homemade spicy tartar sauce. I could eat that everyday!
Is that you playing the guitar JC? Beautiful music and beautiful sites. Moving to SW FL this summer to enjoy fishing and those beautiful sites. Thanks for ALL the quality videos and tips!
Hey there just want to say I enjoy watching your videos. I live in Bonita Springs in SWFL. I try to go fishing at least once a week and look at your videos for ideas and input. Keep it going ! Would be cool to fish sometime with you. thanks again for the good information on your videos .
Nice vid, you now have a french suscriber. I will be in Florida this summer, thanks for these tips that will be very precious. Are you fishing west coast or east coast ?
Those manatee’s were cool! Glad to see you eating sail cats. When I was little we would keep every catfish we caught, and they were delicious also if you get a big pinfish they are good tasting. Taste like bluegill to me.
Entertaining. I keep a large plastic bag in my cooler and put fish in it so their slime doesn't get on my drinks/ food and it make cleaning my cooler easier
Love your videos thanks for sharing. I know where your fishing but I will not disclose the location lol. I've never fished that bridge though. Thanks for your vids
Great vid!. I was catching bait at those pier last week and 2 guys caught a donkey sheepshead and a permit. =) did you try the city piers? Monster jacks passed by when i fished and snooks by the shore. Keep the vids coming!
Another great video JC! Just curious...were you out on the pier first or was the cast netter? Looks like that guy was throwing his net right where you were trying to fish! If you were out there first isn't that considered bad etiquette on his part to be casting his net so close to you?
I switch jig colors all the time, but I like to fish the pink and white for some reason. The green and white did really good on the beach this past spring. I've caught Pompano on solid and two tone jigs regularly though.
I had a guy make a fuss about me throwing the fish back in the water. I really wasn’t throwing. I was just dropping them easy best I can. He said I should be lowering the fish in a basket into the water
For the short distance I traveled it pulled through the sand pretty well. I think t his cart would be more efficient in the sand though: www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-Sand-Island-Beach-Wagon-Cart-Outdoor-and-Camping-Blue-Adult/240828726 Wheels are a little wider.
@@RadReelingFishing ok, it looked like in the video you had separate rod holders attached to the inside, is the reason I asked. I’m currently search for a good deal on beach cart but really don’t want to spend $200-$400 for one. Especially if I can rig it myself with other attachments for lesser money. I’ve been watching a lot of your pompano videos as I’ve never fish for them and gonna try it this weekend.

@@RadReelingFishing Thank you JC for the info. I’m gonna try but as long as I catch some fish, all will be good. Just being outdoors and fishing is what I look forward to, I really enjoy your videos, I’ve learned a lot. Anyways, have a great weekend JC and Fish On!!
Bridge and shore fishing right now for Pompano and Sheepshead is where it's at when they are running. Shore fishing is 1/3 of the work it takes to kayak fish, for me anyway. Thanks for watching. I'll be back out on the kayak again soon.
Reseaches show that fish that has been caught and released often dies from infections, from wounds, from stress. People don't understand the fish is not the same anymore.
Nice video as always but you should probably be more diplomatic or better yet just dont bring the issue up about locations. No need to have said anything about it, really. You are a public figure now!!! Those remarks pissed off several people that was watching the video with me. Two of which were some of the nicest ladies I know. I have never seen them get mad and we have some real douche bags that work with us. Ummm they sure did today and they dont even fish! LOL Now if they got upset what happens when some crazy KAREN or a jealous fishermen locally or within driven distance gets mad and decides to find you! Lots of crazy people especially these days, no need to push their buttons. Besides it so easy to geolocate anyone can do it except for maybe common core grads. Todays apps and software are amazing.
Thanks for being a long time subscriber. Are you referring to the song at the end of the video? Here are the lyrics: "Searching for greatness In a sea of the dying and shameless A sea of the aimless I don't want to be one of the nameless I'ma wake up with the mindset that one day I'm gonna make it And I don't think I'll be fine if I don't break my limitations Don't try to stop me I exist to write my own story I'll make a decision if I want some peace or if I want the glory, yeah Don't want a life that is complacent or possibly boring I just want a life that is worth every day exploring"

Sweet cart set up…….what quart size is your cooler?
19 qt. amzn.to/3PNOYLy A friend got the 30 and said it was just too bit and he regretted not getting the 19.
I wonder if I can use this jig setup with a crappie jig as the teaser
You need a strong enough hook.
I know that bridge well...caught me some keeper sheeps.
where do you get your pompano jigs from? I live local in the area so if its a local shop id love the recommend!
I get the 3/8 oz. from Walmart, others from Tackle Direct online orders.

I’ve been on the grind for the pomps too man. Reality of fishing right here. Great video JC.. which brand jig do you prefer for pompano?
