Here's a possible side ending
Kiara would wash up on a river bed far from the pride lands without any memory. Then Kovu would find her and help her regain her memory. They then return to the pride lands and become king and queen

I rewatch The Lion King 2 yesterday and I was thinking: What if Kiara falls in the river? Because... Scar and Mufasa. The bad character wins over a good character. And it will be good plot for Kovu.
But on the other hand, I LOVE Kiara and I LOVE Kovu and my heart will be broken. ♥
