I totally agree about how we italians express the emotions! I remember my Norwegian friend used to say "Today I'm okay" or "this view makes me feel okay" as he was saying that he felt good! But since I'm Italian I was telling him "Why just OKAY?? You should feel astonished, overwhelmed, amazed!! Not simply OKAY!"

I''m italian with some nordic roots and I can only apply for two italian habits: speak with the hands and show emotions (or al least my face does), about the rest.. in my case, I eat cappuccino in the afternoon, I don't care how I dress at all, I eat pizza with some ketchup ( I know many people hate it bad but I love it), and much more. You are great btw, love all your video!!!

Hi Ida, Beth again. You are so funny. I'm in the US and my husband is of Italian descent. We have been married for over 30 years and sometimes just for fun I will lovingly grab his hands in the middle of a conversation and he suddenly starts to stutter or become mute until I let go and he can start gesturing again. He gets so flustered and I get a good laugh. The reason you are so good at what you do is because you are so right.

Ayway eating is fundamental: we live for our mothers' three course meals.

ah...one thing is correct...italian very often speak loud. this is a part of italian i do not like ( but it is not good too to speak so low you cannot hear...never exagerate). unfortunately most part of italian have this habit and sometimes is stressing

I am Italian 100% and it is not completely true but there is some work to do !!!! Before becoming it
I am agree about something and some other things no at all. It’s not a must to respect the rules for food, for example cappuccino, you can drink whatever you want. if you go in a bakery or bar and they have it you can order and drink . Then Italians don’t care about others generally, we have not (jantejagen) jante law. Then for lunch you can eat salad and second dish or only first. In my home we don’t eat for example desert in Sunday too. We don’t drink wine since many years.
For speaking out loud it’s really thrue especially in the south, I know something it’s annoying, while speaking softly is seen suspicious it seems people is planning something illegal or someone is sick or died.
Than for gesture we can say it’s just a stereotype.
Not only is she super pretty, but she is funny too. I do not see any more of her videos. I hope her and Fede are still together.

be careful, i don't know , maybe i'm italian but i don't like at all italian attitude, i'm from the north of italy and i like more the nordic attitude, like german and svedish one, in the north we can say people are more reserved and shy, your vision of italian attitude comes from people born in the south of italy and in general more "mediterranian people".
I know that from a norvegian point of weiw is difficult to see this, but if you look very well and get to know people born and grow in the north (like "milanesi"), this is not so true
