For some reason, watching these videos has been very comforting, really glad to see ppl trying to get into the holiday spirit. Also very interesting to see the life and work of a freelance dancer
I've never watched a "vlogmas" before... I'm 46 and did ballet when I was 3 until I was 10 when I switched to gymnastics. Something so wholesome about Lori and her style. The way she edits, the details and work she puts in is obvious. It's like you can smell the peppermint mocha creamer❤🤍❤️🤍 🍭
Thank you for taking us along on your Nutcracker 2024 performances journey Lori and for the time you give to editing and posting your channel videos. You looked like you are definitely in your element on stage. Hopefully there's a lot of first timers coming to your shows and watching with huge smiles on their faces at your performances. Great work!❤
My friend is a hotel manager and the one thing they always told me was to just ask for hot water from room service or get a travel kettle. Anything that can hold liquid within a hotel room has potentially held a variety of liquids that no one ever wants to touch.
I mean I worked in hotels for a long time, depending on where you go this isn’t much of a concern, but that said I always travel with a kettle and just get coffee outside of my room, even if I stay at a Westin I still do this. lol
@@AshleyFromTX My friend is the manager of a Westin and previously employed at mostly 4 and 5 star places haha. Its usually people either peeing into the or vomiting in them cause humans are gross and believe that hotels are a law until themselves.
I love so much how you acknowledge how special it is to perform for the littles 🥹🩷🩷🩷 I can never forget seeing ballet as a child and it all felt so magical. I never did any of it but to this day I am forever obsessed with nutcracker and the art of ballet just fascinates me and i think is so beautiful 💝
Oooh, have you seen Eva Nys or Josephine Lee of The Pointe Shop here on UA-cam? Eva has so many videos at Master Ballet Academy in AZ and The Point Shop channel has amazing videos of Josephine Lee reacting to TikTok Ballet videos. I can watch these 3 channels all day long. Or all night on my insomnia nights🥴
A splash of your favorite creamer in the oatmeal = 🔥!! It adds a delicious creaminess!!! I usually stick to vanilla or sweet cream but it works with any.
Idk much about ballet but I’m so inspired by how committed you are to what you love doing ❤. I love all the travel and behind the scenes of rehearsals. The ballet lifestyle is fascinating!
I'm 100% sure that you made this a magical experience for the kids today. You're the most beautiful Sugarplum 🥰Nice that you got to have a relaxing afternoon lunch though and a soak in the hot tub.
The first time I saw a ballet was in elementary school. The school took us to see The Nutcracker because one of our student teachers was dancing; she was Sugar Plum. After the show I bugged my mom until she bought tickets so I could go see it again.
Ballet is such a beautiful craft. I have loved watching ballets ever since I was a child. I used to be so mesmerized by all the sparkles, the dancing, the music. Then later, I worked at a theatre and I loved watching the dancers warm up on stage. The determination and ambition that all these people - that YOU have - is absolutely wonderful and so inspiring to see. Thank you for making these videos and bringing the magic of ballet closer to the non-ballet world :D I cannot wait to go see my next ballet at my local theatre :D
I’ve had the chance to see the Nutcracker twice, here in Toronto at the National Ballet of Canada. It’s such a magical performance. Hopefully one day you’ll be there! Best wishes for an amazing season! 🩰 🎄
Nutpods needs to sponsor you. ❤ You did a great job for these kids and went into it with the correct attitude and not the omg it’s so early I hate these kids and they don’t know anything about what I’m doing, etc etc. What they experienced was likely the most magical thing they will experience all Christmas season. I bet some kids went home and did dream of ballerinas dancing in their heads. You are doing a great job at mental and physical self care with having your personal needs for acceptable breakfast that’s rapid to make and the nutpods to doctor up hotel coffee. Glad you had a nice lunch and a jacuzzi after your performance. They had to feel so rewarding! Hope you rest well and are as cozy as can be in your hotel. Smart to have breakie, coffee doctoring up, snacks and the lights. It really is showing your experience in being a traveling freelancer. Very interesting to see what you do to warm up in class. That had to be brutal so early tho. You did a good deed for those kids though. Cheers to another day making people’s lives more fulfilled with the arts!
Lori your vlogmus is amazing! Really getting me in the spirit for Christmas. You are such a talented and sweet girl! Thanks for sharing your life with us. Merry Christmas! 🎄 ❤🙏
One thing that confuses me is how Americans are writing the date for example the 12.05.24 is for me the twelfth may not the fifth December. In Germany you write 5.12.24 hahah
Lol, yeah, I can see that. I may be wrong, but I always thought its because we write in the manner or order that we speak or read. We primarily say the month first. You have sparked my curiosity 😊
Love your vlogs...thank you! I agree w/ tou about you never know how you're going to influence a child's life...but only if the parents are on board, so I would give some attention to the parents also. Mine weren't on board w/ anything I wanted. My Dad was self-centered & the way he was raised made him basically a glutton. He was afraid everything was going to take food out of his mouth. Including stuff I wanted to do. So I never got much of a chance.
My oma took me to a ballet when I was like 4 and it was so amazing I begged my mom to let me take ballet. Unfortunately my oma passed and my family wasn't great(my mom kept forgetting to pick me up from practice for hours afterwards as an example and the company just left me in the parking lot) so after a few years I fell really behind and eventually quit. I still was blown away at the performance I attended last year. Really wish I could afford to go more.
When I was a kid my dad used to take me to a lot of ballet concerts here in Brazil and I always wanted to be a ballerina because it amazed me so much. Saddly, when I started ballet at my local school, I was told my body shape wasn’t the ideal and I got a little discouraged. I know my family didn’t have money to pay for classes for a longer period and all that, but it broke my heart a little 😬 Dont blame anybody, I know raising dreamy kids and being poor is kinda delicate and my parents always tried to give me a good education and some culture despite that (sorry for the long text lol)

Love the idea you brought your own Christmas lights to the hotel room-- ❤

In that adudience will have been a child who just loves ballet and this will change their life. ❤

Omggggggg Scandinavian swimmer gummies in the freezer?! Not all heroes wear capes. lol.
My little sister started training ballet after we first watched Nutcracker when she was 4 years old, she loved it so much ❤

Love that you took lights to the hotel!

You're so right. Same here.
I’m going to have to try your peppermint mocha creamer!!
Your back muscles are INSANE! At the 3:57 oh my😍😦
Use powder to set your makeup. It’ll keep, longer. You’re beautiful. Just a suggestion. 🤗♥️

Rewatching all of vlogmas because I miss it lol…
Imagine a little one decided to dance while watching you❤
First! I love these videos 💕
Good luck on all our your upcoming performances! ♡

What shades and brands are your lip pencil and lipstick. Your makeup is always well done.
Luv your vids! Thank you ❤
For a micro millisecond, my eyes saw jet glue + eyelashes 😆
Do you still get nervous before performances?
A sweetheart! Just as sweet as a sugar plum. How fitting, beauty!
Watching this all the way from Malaysia😬
Hi Malaysia ❤

Have a wonderful time Lori 🩰🎄
I'm a little puzzled, isn't there usually breakfast at the hotel?
This hotel only has restaurant style breakfast and I don’t have time to sit down and order this early
@@Life.of.lori. makes sense

Good morning beautiful!!
You look exquisite!!!
you look beautiful in that red leotard 🍒❤❤
Your partner looks different! Maybe he cut his hair? Regardless, you both look great ❤
I don't know how you dance with fake eyelashes on!
Am I the only one who thinks that Lori and her partner are a thing, like a couple
