As boring as it may seem, I believe most viewers would be content watching your day to day care and commentary even if you don't get new animals. I mean, people watch each other clean and cook while cleaning and cooking. So when you choose to get a new animal, it's a treat. And DON'T FEEL GUILTY. You learned, apologized, and are healing. Let's move forward, Girl! Don't let some self righteous bullies keep you in a perpetual state of regret!
I was just thinking it would be nice to see updates on the animals she does have. I do more Instagram than UA-cam but I've come to realize it doesn't matter how many animals you have it only matters if you post interesting things. I'm trying to work on that but it's kinda hard to figure out what to post.
I never left the channel, I always checked back and I'm so happy I did because seeing you start to reflourish is amazing because you are absolutely killing it doll, happy to have you with us today ❤️
I relate to feeling the guilt of getting new animals when you had to rehome ones before. But it was for both their sake and yours. My family had to rehome one of our dogs when we initially thought having 2 would be fine. But they drove each other crazy and they would lash out at us. But now they are both thriving in separate homes and are living happy & full lives. I hope you can look back and see that you did what you had to and that you’ve come a very long way. We’re proud of you 🥺🫶🏻
As long as you went in w/the intention, means & love to give them a forever home (it’s kind of like ppl in ur life - not all of them are meant to last forever lol)… but the more you have or even if it’s not much… life happens. Sometimes animals aren’t a good fit or we aren’t able to give them their best life or enough attention.. or if you have too many that they are neglected & don’t get enough attention I think as long as you find a better home for that animal it’s okay. I’ve been through the same thing & the guilt & shame & sadness & feeling like a horrible person who failed.. but I kinda think of them upgrading. Like I make sure they are going to a new home & their setup & everything is upgraded & that person knows all about them & I know can provide a good forever home & usually they are the star of their attention. I always give them as much stuff for them as possible bc I want them to have a better life & I feel so bad… but usually those ppl will update me with videos & photos & when they are in a really good home in an amazing massive setup & getting tons of love & attention & adequate care then it makes me feel better. You’re not just dumping the animals or letting them loose on the streets to fend for themselves or ignoring their needs until they die or give them to a rando on CL that doesn’t know anything about that animal… so I think sometimes it just happens. And we still keep them in our hearts & we learn from those experiences. Life fluxuates & sometimes you can handle more animals than other times & sometimes the animals just aren’t a good fit. They upgraded to a home you found for them & then eventually you can open your heart & home to have a good home for future babies. I feel like people who care that much & feel all the sadnes & bad feelings to rehome but know it’s better for the animal are good pet owners… & the more I get into the exotic world like more rare it is. So I def. get the guilt… but if you can think of it as an animal you loved, you tried your best & it makes sense that not all will be perfect fits or are in your life for a period of time. I’ve struggled with that guilt & sadness too… but seems like you went in knowing & tried & it’s really hard sometimes to think about what’s best for the animal & how they can live their best life… sadly sometimes it’s not with us & there is a better fit somewhere else. Being able to put their needs first & find them a better home & heal or get whatever together… sometimes life happens when you are able to add or have more. Just more animals that actually go to good forever homes. I’ve had to think of the ones I’ve rehomed kinda like friendships that end & try to focus on the positive when they were in your life, learning something & then forgiving & opening you’re heart again!! You sound like an awesome pet owner & I know how bad that feels so I’m so sry that happened & guilt is the worst so I hope you are able to let that go! From one animal owner to another you def. seem like one of the good ones!! 😊 Thanks for sharing… that guilt & sadness & making that decision sucks. No one in my life gets the animals or cares so it’s lonely feeling like you’re the only one in that experience! I bet there are more of us than you think & hopefully this helps ppl like us to forgive & heal & be better! ☺️
It's especially huge if you've ever been around forums or social media. People make it seem like you must NEVER EVER REHOME AN ANIMAL FOR ANY REASON, because it's apparently a life-shattering trauma for the animal, and if you do, you must never get one of that species again. I'm trying hard to get rid of this mindset, because I had parrots I couldn't keep in my early life (age 15-21 is not a good time to have cockatoos and macaws), but I want to have them later, when I'm 40 or so and with a permanent dwelling.
Your growth is so inspiring! Pretty different situation, but I haven't been able to do anything but work on myself, feed my animals and survive for the last 3 months, but I'm finally starting a new job next Monday. Every time you post it reminds me that other people are people too, and time for healing is ok. And isopods are adorable, fuck the haters! Can't wait to see more animal updates ❤
I'm so glad to see you back!!! I'm so proud of you!!! I'm glad you're able to get yourself back out there, you're making so much progress even after everything that's happened. I know that this is a bit of a rant, but it's nice to see you back. I watched your channel since I was in grade school, so it brings me a lot of comfort to know that you're back on your feet! Sorry again for rambling 😅
I have an earlier comment. I am 57 and struggle with alchohol. Been to rehab, which I want again. You are very smart and have genuine charisma. You will be fine, and I love that you want to focus on rescues. I wish I had your smarts and humilty at your age. Humility is the most undervalued virtue today.
I will always remember the first video I watched of you feeding your animals and since then I haven't stopped watching. It was heartbreaking to see you go through all that you have and i just want you to know I never lost hope in you. And i just want you to know your contents are still very much loved and relevant, and you will always be in my prayer. God loves you and i love you and your animals too(can't forget them). Bless you. And may God be with you always. ❤🙏
I loved hearing you talk about pacing adoptions more and focusing on rescues in the future! That seems like such a healthy outlook at animal adoption (obviously not that there’s anything wrong with breeders). It’s fantastic seeing you look so healthy and passionate about animals again❤
I’m so happy to see you back! I always loved your content for years now and came back every other month to see if you reposted something! You were so very courageous in sharing your personal life! It’s so wonderful you’re better but even if it doesn’t work out as you expected and you have a setback please know we’ll still be here for you! Sending all the good vibes towards you!
So sorry about the hair! You make a great point though it happens to everyone and it’s not like you don’t know what you’re doing. Shit happens. As always, happy to hear from you. Awesome that you went to an expo, crazy how much changes in just 5 years or so
Hey Taylor. I’m super glad to see you’ve improved so much from where you’ve been, including recognizing thought patterns and behaviors that could improve. It takes a lot of work and is not easy. I’ve been struggling with depression pretty bad for the last 3 years - I’ve been hospitalized twice and I was definitely in a really low place where I could not function to properly care for myself for a while. Only within the last 6~ months have things made a big improvement and I’m not even all the way okay yet. Mental health is a bitch, and it’s great you’re being more mindful and responsible with your decisions. Really proud of you. I’ve been here since 2015/2016 so seeing you improve as a person is really great to see. Keep up on improving yourself for you! You got this fam.
I love seeing videos from Taylor, and I love seeing the people in the comments to find Solace through her journey and a safe place to express their own journeys here in the comments. This feels like a sage space ❤
You're seriously such a kind, thoughtful & intelligent person. I really admire your thought processes, especially now that you're doing better. It really does make a difference how much love you're able to show others when you've learned to love yourself. ❤️
I'm just so proud of you Taylor. It's so nice to have you back!! And seeing you upload always brings a smile to mah face. Glad you're doing so much better, and personally. I don't think the hair is that bad.
I know this is very late but it's awesome to see that you're doing so much better and that you actually wanna think things out before you do something now, I can't wait to see how much more you improve and grow. Please upload again sometime and don't rush yourself. Keep looking towards the sky.
Aside from how personal and relative you are the thing I love about your content is the moments you capture of these animals. Every time you somehow capture the cutest moments on an animal I wouldn’t have even looked twice at. Your filming and teaching allows me to see these animals in a different light and I really appreciate that about you.
im so glad more people are talking about this. thank you so much. i used to watch videos like this when i was 18 and before i know it i had a mini zoo. im 23 now and know that i have ADHD and can be extremely impulsive - im now down to my last 6 critters and anything bought in is planned months in advance. its so much freer now and better on my MH. i feel like alot of youtubers dont address MH, addiction and impulsivity when it comes to animal husbandry
I am so, so proud of you. Not many people who get stuck in a situation like yours are able to get themselves out, especially relatively quickly as you did. From what little we know of your family, it sounds like they really love and care about you and that makes me really happy. I'm looking forward to more content from you! You could make videos about almost anything and I bet they'd be interesting :)
I don't enjoy a lot of youtubers that I watched back in the day but man, I was so happy how this felt like one of your old videos and was still entertained throughout it. Keep on posting
Beanies and bangs with wigs will make working with them so much easier. You don’t have to worry about the hard front being visible that way. Hope this helps 🖤
I’m so proud of you! You’ve come such a long way and you’ve improved so much, healing is always allowed to take its own pace, and you needed your time and I’m glad you pushed through it all!
She looks beautiful!! Sobriety is hard and I’m proud of her journey and where it’s gotten her so far because she’s looking great!! Always has been, so pretty glad to see you posting again !!
My friend group and I have been watching your vids for a few years now and even though we came for the animal content we stayed for you Taylor Your story and personality are both entertaining and inspirational!
You build this platform yourself, you can make it anything you want. I know the algorithim doesn't like that, but the community that really likes you will stick around and follow. Vlogging, other interests and hobbies, and animal videos when you're able to. Make your channel whatever you want. Also, I care about you and have been here from almost the start. Its lovely to see how youve changed and how youre bettering yourself.
Hey Taylor! I’ve been watching your content since my early teens and have always loved your content, you are the reason I got my crested gecko and my orchid mantis, and dyed my hair rose gold for a while from the mantis video :) I’m glad you’re getting better and hope your hair makes a speedy recovery! Thank you for the content, please put yourself first and do what’s right for you! X
I love the montage of all the animals at the expo and the chill music! Great way to start my morning 🥰 I’m really proud of you Taylor. It’s scary stepping back out there and starting over. I’ve been following you for a long time and I can relate to so much of what you’ve gone through, and I can’t imagine how hard it is going through that in the public eye. Sending lots of love and positivity for your continued healing ❤
Hi! Always good to see you back! I love the new rescue orientation. Your knowledge and careful attention will be such a relief to any animals you take in as rescues.
Side note for your hair- shave the damages side. You would totally rock a side shave! Edit to add: you can also wear it in a deep side part to cover the damaged side or side shave if you go that route 🙂
I had to rehome my red eared slider because of my alchohol addiction I had her for 8 years. I still feel guilty that i let my life fall apart to the point where I could not take care of my animal I swore I'd never abandon.
Its so wonderful to see you so great and being sensible to keep yourself happy/pacing yourself. I know the house is probably not where you want to be forever but it seems like the environment is good for you ❤
I don’t know why but the wig is giving me Fern from Jawbreaker. I really admire how honest you are, I’ve followed for a LONG time & no matter how long in between uploads I will always tune in! I haven’t gotten to own any reptiles or snakes, but your videos made me want them & appreciate them more!
Hello beautiful🥰 I always love seeing new videos of yours pop up. You are getting so much more comfortable being in front of a camera again, I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! Keep up the good work sweet girl, we all love you so so much❤
Hey Taylor! I am so glad you posted again I’ve been waiting!❤ I love you so much your my idol. You inspired me to convince my dad to buy me a frog and I now have a frog named Belly! I have 9 pets- 😅 I hope you have a great day, also I LOVE your tattoos. I literally love everything about you, if you read this whole thing ur the best person on earth 🌍 🤟🏼
Taylor I just want you to know how much I look forward to seeing your videos. I love how open and honest you are…❤ peace ☮️ and love I truly hope and pray you find happiness and peace.❤
You're amazing for wanting to do rescue only in the future!!!! So many of these animals that get purchased at these shows end up getting dumped or improperly cared for. As a fentanyl addict myself, I totally understand your struggle. I know how hard it is....
I worked the one at the Lonestar Convention Center a while back. I was truly shocked at the amount of ball python morphs and crested geckos. I ended up taking home a beautiful Sulcata baby. I'm so glad you went. They are so relaxing to me!
I know im some random on teh interwebs but as one human to another, I am very proud of your journey. I am familiar with the struggles you've greeted on your journey and I know how heavy and hard it can be. I am so very proud you are still here on earth. I am very proud you keep pushing forward. Im proud you havent thrown in the towel. Thank you, keep pushing. Im happy to see an upload! I enjoy your content. Try not to be so hard on yourself. You are rocking it, even when you think youre not.
Thank you for being honest and raw with us, it's nice to see ur face back on the platform again. Everything happens for a reason. Hopefully sooner then u think ur knew mindset of growth will show u results! ur moving in a positive direction!
To trade "Sorry" statements to "thank you" statements is sth I try to do when I fall into the habit of excusing myself a little more than what might be healthy for my self-worth! For example, "Thank you for supporting me even though I´m not feeling great right now" instead of "Sorry, I´m not feeling great right now". I felt like u were kinda apologizing about ur hair in the beginning, and even though it was just silly and funny I kinda saw myself in that behaviour and thought it might be helpful to share this lil tip! ^^ I might just be imagining things though haha. In any case, I´m always so happy to see ur vids cause u seem like such a kind person and ur educating about animals is so epic to me B)
I haven’t watched a video of yours in years and this one reminded me of how much joy your channel used to give me. Keep doing you sis your doing amazing 😘😘
i am glad you're being more responsible about the animals you bring home now- even if you know well how to take care of them, i understand how overwhelming it can be, especially with your recovery. i'm also very glad to see you doing better :)!!! take care of yourself
So happy to see you back…. Your beautiful and I’m glad you took ALL THE TIME YOU NEEDED….. to be able to share like you do is just amazing I’m a very private person….I could never have a UA-cam channel but anyway I’m so glad to see you back
I know people don't generally like to hear this type of compliment... but you look somehow happier with the blonde hair..? Idk how, but you just do. ❤️ Maybe because you look like you feel healthier. Miss this from you girlie and I am happy to see it 💕
I’m so happy to see you back and in a good place. I’ve been keeping up with your journey for forever. Back when you first got your forest match stick tattoo.. right? I’m just so glad to see you thriving better than before and I truly am cheering you on the whole way xxx
I’ve been watching ur videos since before 2019 and so much has happened since then but your progress is amazing and I’m so happy your mental health is doing better😊. We love youuuu💕💕
Taylor I’ve been following you since the beginning and everything in-between. I’ve been waiting to see your true self again and this genuinely seems like your old self. But new and improved. Happy you found that headspace.
I really missed your videos, so glad to see you back and thanks for making these videos for us! Looking forward to seeing more and seeing updates on all your animals :)
So happy to see you back!!! I loved the tour of the expo and seeing all those beautiful animals. My favorite was the frogs. Glad you’re starting to get your passion back ❤
I love Taylor so much she is truly amazing. Also Ik your probably sick of hearing “do an updated all my pets vid” seeming as it has been a minute I personally would appreciate a quick rundown bc Ik you have a lot. I’m so glad you’re getting better tho and I hope things go smoothly for you from now on cuz Ik it’s been rough. You deserve it. You’re one of the most real and authentic ppl I’ve ever watched. I get so happy when I see you post on any sort of social media

Thank you for the content, please put yourself first and do what’s right for you! X
It great to see you back not seen a notification from you in like a year 😮
I love the montage of all the animals at the expo and the chill music!
Great that you’re doing much better! Glad you’re back ❤ x
Side note for your hair- shave the damages side. You would totally rock a side shave!
Edit to add: you can also wear it in a deep side part to cover the damaged side or side shave if you go that route 🙂
You are so strong ❤. Also you're looking better than ever, we can all tell that you're doing so much better and we are all so proud of you :)
I had to rehome my red eared slider because of my alchohol addiction I had her for 8 years. I still feel guilty that i let my life fall apart to the point where I could not take care of my animal I swore I'd never abandon.
I hope you’re doing much better, and good on you for doing the right thing instead of having the animal suffer instead. Good on you.
You didn’t abandon her! You did what was right and gave her to someone who could give her the care she needed.❤
It's so good to see you thriving. We missed you 🥹
Its so wonderful to see you so great and being sensible to keep yourself happy/pacing yourself.
I know the house is probably not where you want to be forever but it seems like the environment is good for you ❤

I always enjoy your videos, I’m glad you’re returning. Your videos have always been so fun
I’m happy with any content you put out. 👏👏 I’m glad your feeling better.
You've always been such a genuine person. Stay strong, life is as hard as it is beautiful.
i love seeing you look so healthy, i hope youre mentally healthy too!:)) stay strong girl
Hi Taylor,
Good seeing you. Please take care of your health!!!
I'm so happy to see you slowly getting better with everything, having been watching you many years ago, I'm glad more things are looking up!
I’m glad you’re in the mental space you’re in. Addiction isn’t easy and I’m rooting for you. One day at a time girl
i am glad you're being more responsible about the animals you bring home now- even if you know well how to take care of them, i understand how overwhelming it can be, especially with your recovery. i'm also very glad to see you doing better :)!!! take care of yourself
