There's no way he won't ever be the goat of ultimate. If Tweek starts winning every tourney he goes to from now to the end of ultimate's competitive lifespan, maybe he has a shot lol
I think it’s because he’s usually been super dominant in his tournament wins and when he hasn’t won he got 3-0d quite a few times. Before quarantine it was fairly common for Leo to go through losers bracket but post quarantine it’s felt like he either dominates the tournament through winners or loses
Was really rooting for tea during this tournament. Seeing him lose to Leo that last game after that one missed electric was so sad. But Leo just outplayed him after that, just kept him in disadvantage for the rest of the game.
thats exactly what a two frame is the difference between a normal recovery and a tether is that tether can choose to pull themselves up with different timing, but when they do pull in you can two frame them
It is so hard to be as lucky as Leo is that consistently. If he is continously lucky, it leads to me to think that something other than luck is involved.
There is no "almost lost" or " he was so close to losing". He won, the others did not. Once again Leo 1#. He is #1 for a reason and currently stands above all japanese, european and american players.
I feel like Leo's too scared to try anything different versus Min Min. He was just running at her as Joker which is what he does for Dabuz, but Justice knows better than to allow that. He's gotta learn the mu.
he said in an interview that he just wasn't feeling it as joker during the match up. totally happens sometimes in tournament but he had the confidence to change to a totally different character and win. i think justice played well but for this set I honestly think it was more of mkleo's joker being a bit off rather than justice's min min being better that dabuz's
@@DannyKim101 Justice is one of the better Min Mins, with proper character knowledge and matchup knowledge. Dabuz's Min Min is more so a counterpick. He doesn't have those same polished aspects. There's a difference in how they approached Leo's Joker in neutral and punishing disadvantage. I believe that was more the difference maker, moreso than any vague feelings about Leo's Joker feeling "off." If Leo was practicing this mu I'd expect him to be more prepared. There would be no room for "not feeling it" .
MKLeo showed everyone why he’s the Goat in Ultimate
.
once again for like the 4th time in the last year
To think everyone was questioning it before G9 blows my mind lol

MuteAce was incredible too. Beat a lot of the best players
Out of all the post-quarantine tournaments, I feel like Leo had the most game 4 moments in this one

Mkleo had 4 Game 5 moments, crazy
The only message Leo every Hearted of mine on one of his videos was me talking about how terrible of a design min min is.
16:00 Mute was hoping acola would miss the tech and do nair > down tilt > up b. He did that same set up and killed Gluto during their set
Happy Saturday Larry enthusiasts
My favorite part was when Larry got Pizza
Larry, I love your content. I will watch the next vid and the one after that. I'm all for making the petition towards a new facecam lol.
Alternate title: MKLeo won Genesis 9
I love how you said Critcal Art at the end lmao
Interesting fact, Peach's turnip pull can be punished by a DK F smash
Do you do coaching?
Did Leo use any side B’s as ROB?
No lol, he plays Rob in a fundies way. Doesn't really utilize the special moves to their full extent
Not as part of a combo, but he did use it at 6:43 lol
He would’ve gotten a few kills much earlier if he would be use that move

I feel like Tea's nerve got the best of him...
Rooting for a Kazuya main LMAOO okay buddy
Tea is rather formidable against Leo. 2nd best set between them after Frostbite
Kinda crazy that despite that, Tea has yet to take a set off Leo
All that but Leo is now 8-0 against Tea. 3 of the 8 sets going to game 5 but Leo is just way too clutch against Tea
Steve's blocks are nuts.
You can also get rid of minmin's powered up arm by grabbing her, much like incin revenge
Let's take Mute's Steve records. Beat Acola twice and took him to game 5 the one time he lost, took Onin to game 5 twice
Bro which part?
Leo's R.O.B is lowkey kinda nice.
Leo hating Min-Min is just Leo being based
FYI Larry you cannot 2 frame tethers you have to hit them before they snap ledge
i feel like that’s what he meant
thats exactly what a two frame is the difference between a normal recovery and a tether is that tether can choose to pull themselves up with different timing, but when they do pull in you can two frame them
love da vid 👌
Chairry lurr
Hear me out, he should try corrin against min min. MU very doable
Fundies will always beat mashers, that’s why Leo beats people with the randomest things
If acola was actually good.... damn
It’s LITERALLY kazuya , who doesn’t lose or almsot lose to him
Min min beats him badly.
god I hate min min
W
Leo may be the best, but he is also the absolute luckiest player alive lmao
all of the greatest are
Homie is HIM. He got plot armor 🐐
Plot armour

If you're not first. You're last
But it was game 5?
Two things can be true at once. Did he win? Yes. Was he close to losing? Also yes.
People still wearing masks?? Is this real life? Lol
acola his fundamentals are not that good compared to other pro player, he is just the best steve.
bad take
His fundamentals are pretty good, I think he would be a pro regardless. I think he'd be top 100 instead of top 5 in the world though.
Yeah after watching the same setups and repeated misses yet still winning..
Steve carries mediocre players.

Wym “He’s gotta learn the mu” I’m pretty sure he knows it better than we do.
He does know the matchup... That's why he switched. Duh. 🤨
