Does anyone else get 'happy Goosebumps' and 'chills' when they hear Bhagavan das' voice? After years of listening to Krishna Das, I was looking for new songs by him, then I came across Bhagavan Das, instant fan already! :) Har Har Mahadev!
Bhagavan Das, thank you for all your blessings and good intentions. You are a benefit to humanity. People always project bad trips on people like you with spiritual energy... The truth of the heart will live on and chanting the Holy Name will continue to benefit all beings everywhere and you are Proudly Nobody's Guru
Beautiful. I also love Ram Dass. 👐 I've also enjoyed watching lots of Master Sri Avinash lately. #SriAvinashDo I have found his peace talks have helped me to become way more calm.
My sense/understanding is that Bhagavan Das has a far more individual trip with Awakening than compared to more exposed teachers like Ram Dass. It's an act of love and compassion - like the historical Buddha - that he teaches us. I first came across Bhagavan Das in the documentary "Fierce Grace." I recognized him immediately as onto something - like our systems on this material plane had melted from him in great part.
Let me tell you that you can never see God you can only feel his presence . God is like electron we know it's out there but we can't see only its presence can be felt through strong conscious ness
Yeah I love the Buddhism too, but for some reason I didn't get all offended. I think by "army" he was referring to the pictures in the magazine showing thousands of practitioners en masse, while the Hindus were represented by a cute little family at home. Pointing out the personal or intimate nature of religion, which seems to be what he's talking about.
@hansjoergajja I think he was just using the magazine pictures to make an example of how some people approach religion or buy into more of a mob mentality versus a personal relationship or path. In his autobiography "It's Here Now" he talks about a lot of different experiences including a life altering experience with Jesus that he had after he lived in India. He was a Christian for some time and then adopted a more open path to religion. He also talks about experiences with other paths.
Christian, Buddhist, Islam, Hindu=Labels. Different paths up the same mountain. Being hindu does'nt automatically make you an accomplished mystic just as being christian does'nt automatically make you some in your face bigot or "army". I will love Rama and Krishna always and I will never deny Jesus. I will deny my religion before I deny my Lord. I won't call people out on there religion but will consider where they're coming from in order to love and serve them better. That's just me.
How do I explain “what you have now is what you want because if you didn’t wanted you wouldn’t have it” to someone who has been rapped, suffered from physical and verbal abuse from both parents, siblings and partners throughout her or his life or to someone who says “what about the innocent children dying from war and starvation?”?
If you are compelled to express an opinion, you are attached to that opinion, therefore you are not listening to what he says. Listen and understand without attachment. Learn.
I’ve noticed a number of people watching this video misunderstanding the word “army” in this context. Especially if you’re not a native speaker, you may take it literally and relate the word “army” to “military” and then to “violence” etc. However, the word “army” may be used to describe lots of something, multum such as “army of ants” - it doesn’t mean angry, military style ants 😅 just simply lots and lots of them. One of the point the speaker is making here is that you can meet God anywhere and everywhere - you don’t necessarily need an organised movement / religion to feel God’s presence in your life. I don’t feel he’s making a case against any or for any particular religion - just pointing out that people / believers show similar tendencies no matter the cultural or religious background.
God will judge me about how lacking in compassion I am. So here's the deal. If I see Wildwoodflowerify in my inbox again, I'm not going to read it, I'm just going to delete it.
I can't believe this is the same guy on "Spiritual Revolution"-that nice hippy, and then to find out I'd seen him before on Kumare-the one I hated the most. Even the Dalai lama...he says nature is nothing special-we take care of it like our house. Sorry, people, lay under the stars nights in a row alone, walk through a meadow, run with dragonflies-nature is IT...We live in this world, why do we have to give that up to some internal high like nirvana?Be our own God? If we don't need God-why a guru?
I don´t know who this guy is, and I am no expert in Hinduism, but he says that stuff about army religion in the beginning and says Hinduism dosn´t have that....have he not heard of something called kumbh mela? If there ever was a shitload of religious people gathering, kumbh mela is defenetly the biggest....
In his being, he is clear of course ! Dear Rhino, did You never wonder, why many saints utter opposite statements? Whatever comes to duality, is not the truth.Truth is nondual. So please don' t follow blindly. Always use Your common sense.
This guy is definitely "touched", but it's not by "enlightenment". Here's a secret: "Enlightenment" is a concept which can never be attained, because there is no such thing, you can never split yourself in two, you are part of the whole single movement of existence. If you want to know more, go to the real deal, UG Krishnamurti. The greatest Anti-guru I've ever witnessed. He is the biggest threat to all these gurus that are trying to sell you something, whether for money or not.
watch Kumare and you'll see why this guy is worthy of judgement. " If i was a 20-year-old girl, i would love hanging out with me."...."He's having sex with all the young girls, he cannot be a guru. Well why not? What could be more fabulous than having sex with a really spiritual mystical person?"-Bhagavan Das
Lol here's a guy who listen to krishnamurti who is nothing but a book in human form talking stuff for earning money And here is bhagwan das who instead of reading and babbling actually practices and teaches love instead of these heavy words like enlightenment
You know what ???That's true !!!I agree with that !!! 💯 percent .It IS MY FAULT !!IM EATING THE BLAME!!!ALL OF IT !!AND UT TASTE GOOD!!!I LIKE THAT ABOUT MOMMYS FAULT ..ITS NOT YOUR MOTHERS FAULT ..GOOD STUFF !!!LED ZEP SAID THE SAME THING "NOBODYS FAULT BUT MINE "
funny. we can't stop judgeing long enough, to get any teachings. you do get any teachings from this guy? i sure do! a helluva lot in fact from just these five minutes!
No, it's you who doesn't. Some people loathe political correctness, and that's where "cool" is in the eye of the beholder. Your opinion is anathema to me.
I believe that .It's nobody's fault but mine .But what do I do with that ??It's so much my fault that I don't know how to fix it !True not my mother's fault or gods it anybody else's .But I'm do fucked up and did so much fucked up shit they won't even let me back in church !I need a god damn guru !!!What about u bagwan you wanna be my guru??
We disagree that you are too sensitive. My daughter is autistic - get a grip. If THIS bothers you, I'd hate to see how you do when the shit hits the fan. It's your choice to sweat the small stuff. Don't try to impose that on me, and leave me alone.
ITS INTERESTING THAT HE ATTRACKS SO MANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS. 2 THINGS THAT ARE APPARENT ABOUT HIS BEHAVIOR, 1-HE SPEAKS VERY CANDIDLY ABOUT HIS OWN LIFE, SEXUALITY, WARTS & ALL.IN THIS CONTEXT HE REALLY DOESN'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT HIS PICADILLOS.2-HE WAS OBVIOULY, IN HIS PAST LIVES, A HINDU SADHU OF SOME MERIT, OTHERWISE HIS MEETING A SAINT, LIKE NEEM KAROLI BABA&HIS 1 WEEK EXPERIENCE IN SAHAJA SAMADHI, SEE BOOK, ITS HERE NOW,ARE YOU?, NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE.
And Hindu is not an army religion? They have been fighting the Muslims for years. Everybody thinks their unique. And Hinduism is very much concerned with god(s). I don't understand this.
I don't mean to argue but from what I see of Bhagavan Das is that he does dress relatively plainly. He keeps his hair up he wears plain white shirts and Dhotis the traditional devotional dress, even his hair is pretty unkept, the pink rose in his hair I see it as a sign of playful nature, which is important in this extremely serious world. I'm not saying I think Bhagavan is perfect but concerned with appearances is something he isn't.
I like this guy's music when the Beastie Boys helped him out. But he totally lost me at the beginning of this talk when he dissed my beloved Buddhism and other religions as "army". Hinduism cannot be described as "army"??! Yeah, right!!
Army just helps as a description word he doesn’t mean violent religion. But when u think army u think of masses and masses and masses of people under a general.. he’s just using tht to highlight the following picture of Hinduism which only showed a few people worshiping a tiny tiny thing
Does anyone else get 'happy Goosebumps' and 'chills' when they hear Bhagavan das' voice?

Full hearted Bhakti. I love It . Namaste most venerable Bagawan Das.
Love this 👏👏👏
Great words of wisdom. Direct from the heart ♥️
I love this man. Simple, sensible, and a pretty voice. God is in the details.
Spot on. The Bhakti yoga. "You've got to be intense."
wonderful... Bhagavan Das is truly wonderful

I LOVE YOU THANK YOU
Thus guy is beautiful.
very enlightening...
I LOVE the Movie 'Kumare', what great Wisdom and humbleness you have shared on that movie, you are truly the ONE.
remarkable wisdom ty
Amazing.

He is just real. I can't believe all the judgemental comments I read below.
Bhagavan Das (Michael Riggs) author of Its Here Now (Are you?) and Ram Das (Richard Alpert) author of Be Here Now are 2 different people...
Let me tell you that you can never see God you can only feel his presence . God is like electron we know it's out there but we can't see only its presence can be felt through strong conscious ness
If God want you to see him he has the capacity to show you, otherwise he cannot be God.
Crazy!
This guy's cool.
he makes sense
Now you get it.
✨️🐉🕉🔱🕉🐉✨️
It's really old video 🙏🙏

GOD IS A BIG DEAL, otherwise there would be uttama adhukaris floating in air, have u ever met one digitalsoulman? I´m dubious! Hare Krishna
God doesn't have to be a big deal, you yourself decide if god is a big deal. Hari Krishna, Hari Rama
@@ojiiparker9190 God is the source of everything. How is that not a big deal? Everything goes back to the Godhead. Everything is for the Godhead.

But I BEEN KNOW THAT FOR 54 YEARS ..WHAT ELSE YOU GOT TO TEACH ME??
why don't you teach us then, master?
राम राम

Christianity also has familiarity, and Hinduism has gatherings of many thousands, too. Bhagavan Das is one of my heroes, but here he is not clear.
He’s talking about something he saw in a magazine
Sorry, but Bhagavan Does Know It.
Try reading his book on his life and
it will tell you.
He is the real deal.

I kinda cannot trust the words of this guy, somehow.
non judge, you are invidious...sex is sacred like all in the UNIVERSE,,,,KRISHNA SAID " IN THE MAN I AM VIRILITY "...
Lol here's a guy who listen to krishnamurti who is nothing but a book in human form talking stuff for earning money

That's true hari das baba ..or whatever your name is ..

Yeah, I'm with you on that. If any religion lacks a military ethos or character, it would be Buddhism -- and Jainism.
Naw I'm just bull shittin ...i agree with that ..its nobody's FAULT but mine ..
You misused the term your - it should be "you're fucked" not "your fucked"
Maybe it's YOUR FAULT!!!!😂😂😂😂😂

Maybe that’s the appearance than he’s concerned with
hmm.... sounds like you got some anger issues baby
u r copying osho, nothing urs
No, he's not. He was one of the few true disciples of Neem Karoli Baba.
Bull. BVD has been on the path since 1962
Charlatan. God bless him.
I like this guy's music when the Beastie Boys helped him out. But he totally lost me at the beginning of this talk when he dissed my beloved Buddhism and other religions as "army". Hinduism cannot be described as "army"??! Yeah, right!!

fake ass laugh right at the beginning, super forced.
