Was there ever any doubt that you would land a tank or two there? Started right off with a PB. And you have fans! You will have to start bringing a sharpie to that spot.
Ya, if you dangle at this spot long enough you will get a tank. I think I've proven that. I've been meeting a lot of nice people at this spot this year. Thanks for watching!
I have to do something to pass the time during those lonely hours fishing in the dark. Singing some J. Cash is a good way to do that. Thanks for watching!
These next few days are a good time to try before the big cold front comes later in the week. Water temps are still warm (49F) so walleye are still pretty active. You just have to fish slow, let it drift along the bottom in the current with an occasional pop off the bottom to keep it unsnagged.
Yes, their eyes are well adapted for fishing in low light. I have my best luck catching them in the twilight just before sunrise. It helps to use bright chartreuse or similar colors to help them see the lure. A small spinner or rattle in your bait also helps them sense it.
Wow man you are killing it, nice walleye!
Thanks! It's been a fun fall!
@BackroadsAngling definitely looks like it man
