Drake getting SASSY with Joe because Joe hit a nerve.
Drake wasn't lying. at the same time Joe had a fair critique, two truths if ppl are hones.
And drake got “sassy” with Joe because he’s a roach in drake’s world. N u gotta step on roaches sometimes. He tried the spray.. he tried ignoring him completely.. but Media Joe like roaches will always be around. Plus more controversy equals more publicity.. also it takes the focus off the music now all drake gotta do is make a fire diss to a roach n change the temperature

Not the same at all. As a matter of fact I think Eminem held back a great deal about how he feels about Joe and can speak from a place that Drake can’t about Joe. Just like Nicki! Drake, Nicki, and Lil Wayne all rap the same and share writers. Drake was born and raised in a white middle-class neighborhood. His only struggle was not fitting in, just like Nicki Minaj. Her dad was on crack, but they still owned a home, and she went to excellent schools. Lil Wayne was born in a middle-class neighborhood he chose to run the streets and hang around thugs! They don’t qualify as American Rappers and Hip Hop Artists because true Rap/Hip Hop is based on pain, struggle, and overcoming adversity not fake struggles!
And Yes Lil Wanye is from the Nice part of Hollygrove he claims an area that he hung out in part-time 😂
30 years deep and those 2 NY spitters are still being mentioned alongside the hottest rapper out right now. That’s something worth celebrating. Salute to Nas and Hov.
Drake and Nicki have the Peter Pan syndrome…they want to be children forever. Therefore the music hasn’t evolved. The content is immature. Drake knows Joe is right. Even tho his albums will always be successfull and stream great, he knows deep down that he's been putting out mid ass music without substance for a few years now
How could Joe be right?? Drake's job is TO SELL RECORDS TO THE BUYERS = tapping-in with the "youngsters" is something Joe's not capable of doing because it would have to be "sincere" & no one's more fake than Joe = his lack of ability to be "humble" is Joe's biggest flaw about him because somehow he keeps convincing himself that he's on Jay-Z/Drake's level to be talking about them publicly with a serious opinion about what he couldn't possibly know or experience himself = Joe's way more delusional than anyone thinks & his extremely low intelligence doesn't help at all

I don't see how "fans" would hear what Drake said and defend it. If Drake thinks Joe (A multi-millionaire) is broke and a failure, what do you think Drake thinks about the regular citizen or the regular person buying his music? You are good enough only to buy his music and support him, but otherwise you have no value and are viewed as a nobody. Think about it. He said Joe is broke and can't afford a private plane. That is the measuring stick he proposed. So how many regular folks out there can afford a plane or even to buy first class flights all of the time? Folks are supporting somebody who is really dissing them too. His publicist should be fired. Or maybe not cause folks won't even catch it. Also, Birdman is wack as hell for talking about gangster stuff. Bro it's not that serious. This is similar to when Joe said he was better than Method Man lyrically and then the Wu Tang affiliate beat him up. All of this is nasty and wack. All of it. But the sad part is I wanna defend Joe, but Joe has abandoned his true fan base too. Now Joe is out here talking that rich crap soooo basically both sides are wack but I do have a little bit of grace left for Joe. I still love Joe at heart, but all of this is wack.

My thoughts exactly!! When I read Drake’s comments it made me think about all that. Yea, he roasted Joe but I don’t really like when people try to flaunt their wealth and (indirectly) crap on working class citizens… we are the ones that buy the music and contribute to their careers.

I never bought a Joe Budden album in my life.....BUT even I know he's not a failed rapper. What benchmark are we using for failure cause in my mind Joe aint hit one of em. Nah he's a failed rapper. I'm in my late 30s and I don't know of any Joe Budden songs other than Pump it Up.
When I listen to a Drake song I know I am listening to a product prepared by a team of producers and writers not an artist.

The Real Problem with Drake is that he feels like NOBODY can tell him nothing about his success and longevity but he couldn't be more wrong. Some of the Greatest people in History who stepped into the Music Industry STILL took advice from people who didn't make it and LEARNED. They took the knowledge, appreciated it and applied it to their career. Drake is being WAY too Cocky and I feel like that's what's gonna be his downfall. There's an old quote "Pride comes before the Fall"...Don't take your success for granted and abuse it because it can be taken away just as easily. Drake also needs to remember that a large majority of his success came from the help of the Internet. Previous legends before him didn't have the Internet and was able to gain their success from TRUE HARD WORK...I often wonder if Drake's success would have been just as great without the Internet...
I wouldn't take advice from Joe Budden though lol. In addition, Joe Budden was not given advice to Drake. The guy literally was judging Drake cuz he makes music to a younger generation. Drake would take advice from lil Wayne, Jay z and Kanye. Not ppl that quit on their careers.
