This raga has got a touch of sadness and divineness together…my feelings
Ma'am, you are one of the best singers I have seen on UA-cam. U guided very well... 😍
I think one of the few songs that is an out-and-out copy of this beautiful raagam is "Hai Rama yeh kya hua" from Rangeela. Especially in the beginning, when the strings play, it's like as though the scale is just played as is 😃
this raaga can melt mountains.... TRUE!!

Thanks for listening and glad you enjoyed it.
The raga is well explained. I am seeking a clarification. It is stated in this presentation that Pantuvarali is the 51st of the 72 Melakarta ragas. As per the Melakartha Raga scheme and the (KA TA PA YA) the number that one arrives at for 'Pantuvarali' is 61. Incidentally, the 51st Melakarta raga is 'Kamavardhini'. The Arohana and Avarohana of Kamavardhini are the same as narrated in this presentation. So I am curious to know as to why this raga is called 'Pantuvarali'. Kindly post the clarification. Thank you.
Thanks for listening
So blessed to be able to sing so nicely
Thanks for Listening and Glad you Enjoyed it.
Very instructive explanation, demonstration and performance. I wonder if Pantuvarali resembles Purvi Kalyani, especially in avaroha?
In Arohanam it matches.
In Avaroha Poorvi kalyani had Dha 2.
