Perhaps the best performance I've heard of this piece. Bravo (serenely).
One can hear the lapping of the waves and the sun kissing the surface of the lake; I'm sure Liszt would have approved, beautifully performed, real musicianship.
I imagine putting lyrics to this music, but it truly does not need it... perhaps a sunrise... wow, that was so beautiful.

Au lac de Wallenstadt mit zwei l ist die von Liszt selbst überschriebene Bezeichnung des Stückes, und vollkommen korrekt, da Walenstadt bis in die 1950er tatsächlich Wallenstadt geschrieben wurde.
