@@itsmylesfr Yeah, I'm kinda 100% sure Erik is gay....He shows no interest in dating girls, or hooking up with a girls...but seems to like being best friends with girls....Most gay guys out there will understand......and, since you like little 'gems'...Erik said to Mathias that with regards the New Years kiss with Sara..."Listen to me, between me and Sara....there has never been anything....and there will never be anything....So don't worry buddy, I mean it" (S2 ep 6)....that level of conviction.....means he isn't going anywhere near a girl for anything but friendship.....

I can feel something more is coming towards this Boys friendship. They are so gentle and caring towards each other...I hope so.
@gitanapranckeviciene1772 the way Mathias nuzzled into him during that first hug they had made me say "yep, there's something there." And someone pointed out something that I genuinely didn't think about, when he pictured Erik and Sara making out, the one who he pictured shirtless was Erik, not Sara. A small but possibly intentional detail alluding to the fact that deep down, he may have been more jealous of Sara than Erik like he originally thought.

@sasha_8998 yeah he definitely leaned into it despite seeming a little confused by what happened which is something. And I agree on the similarity to Skam, that was one of the reasons I enjoyed it as well.

But if you watch the scene again (or 100 more times as I have, LOL), right after the kiss broke off both Mathias and Erik both looked away - Erik to the right and Mathias to his right, before looking at each other. It simply conveyed that the kiss (and the emotions behind it) caught them both off guard and they didn't know how to react.
Well, I'm gonna make it 101 more times now...
💪 These two guys Mathias & Erik (Teo & Benji) connect sooooo well, and their acting is real Chill, . . Regardless of the stress and macho tensions at the start! Their embrace was even felt by my heart ❤️! Better known as Bromance! Hugs to both from FL! 🫂
@@Dutchboyz062 I really enjoy the chill acting, I think it makes shows feel super intimate and almost like you are there as opposed to just watching, if that makes sense. I agree with you. It has a similar vibe to Skam for me, which I absolutely love. Still remember my first time watching it years ago.

By far....the best thing that has come out of this series.....finding 8lanco...what an incredible voice and song creator.
The whole series, I knew we would be getting something like what happened in the last scene. And I knew it was gonna happen only before it really happened. This leaves it with an open end. We will have to get more. Please, give us a third season. I loved that series. Thank you very much.
Added: The characters were all great. The actors fully impersonated their roles. Loved it so much.

I really enjoyed the two seasons,it’s so realistic that i had the impression being in norway.i hope there will be a season 3.the actors are incredible. For matthias,all the routes that he took in his life go to erik.they are made for each other,even thea,sara,and felix understood it.god bless norway and rykter.thank u .it was so intense and emotional .i love the hug at the end.the love is about to come between erik and mathias.they knew that they were in love since the beginning. I love to ❤./a huge rykter fan.

This show was fantastic and revealed so many sides to the characters. Each person faced challenges and set goals for themselves. Storyline is very well developed. I am excited about the next season. In the meantime, Young Royals and Red, White, and Royal Blue will provide entertainment. I never get bored watching those two programs. Haha. Thanks for the uploads. 💖

@@itsmylesfr Yes! I read the book twice before watching the film. Both are incredible and can stand on their own. The book had a timeless quality, whereas the film was contemporary and heartwarming. The cast delivered exceptional performances, bringing their characters to life with great skill. The storyline of the film was narrated with a deep sense of passion and emotion. I really loved Red, White, & Royal Blue from the moment it was released. I am really looking forward to the sequel! ❤️🤍💙

Firstly, thanks again for your hard work. That kiss is the sole reason I hunted down this series. I don't regret it for a second, even though the characters drove me crazy (Erik and Synnove not included).
The way Mathias glanced over Erik's shoulder as they parted from the kiss almost had me wondering if they'd been caught. That would've been wild.
I wish that Mathias could just explain to Felix that he's starting to think about the future and while he loves having fun with his boys, it wouldn't hurt them to act more maturely because they act like little kids, like the boys who made fun of Sara, and what they did to Elias was disgusting. No wonder they're all bishless.

Yep, that kiss in this kind of situation look a lot like a security blanket to replace Sara too. I will not denial that he have feeling for Erik though. I'm coming here bc of that kiss!!
But after watch all 2 ss, the illusion was shatter to bit. Erik is as kind and sensitive as I hope he will be, thank god. But Matthias.. he's a walking red flag. As Sara and Felix shout it out for him, the way he's acting is very warning, childish and kind of toxic. I really really, sincerely hope that they're gonna let he fix it as soon as possible.

@taha9940 my assumption is bi, but there are definitely cases where you feel so close to someone that you mistake it as complete attraction, and then later when you meet someone you truly fall in love with, you realize. So he could be either, maybe we will get more explanation on it.

@@Ommsvv they are still in that phase where they are trying to figure everything out, this isn't really a "get together in 1 episode" type of show, more of a slow build towards accepting feelings. It looks like it will be a focus of season 3 to see where their relationship goes after what happened at the end.

Okay so like this, I just don't understand Erik's very little screen time for a main character? Do you guys realize that? Erik is the main character.
Also from the beginning to the end of season two until Mathias kisses Erik it doesn't make sense if you look at their plot.. I mean, the 'intimate' moment between Mathias and Erik before their first kiss, it was just Mathias getting drunk and hugging Erik and falling asleep??? Like, wth! That's a huge leap (many people also commented and agreed with me on this).
So I'll just share my concerns right now.
Mathias and Erik's relationship journey is badly written, the producers or scriptwriters could have done better. So their first kiss would have at least made more sense with a better plot. Idk, luckily I watched after two seasons were done and saw their edited GAY COUPLE videos floating around my fyp, so I invested in watching. If I had watched from season 1 episode 1 when it aired, I probably would have stopped watching and abandoned the series after just the first few episodes.. Because I mean, I only watch series or movies that have gay content in them. I didn't see any strong gay vibes in season 1 until the beginning of season 2 (lol). But then again I don't know.. maybe the producers or writers didn't intend for this to be gay in the first place(?), or hadn't finished writing the script/plot, or maybe the less intimate Mathias Erik plot is now going to be very important to the storyline of the upcoming seasons? Idk idk idk. I'm just frustrated and unsatisfied (and I don't know, but many believe this is going to be a slow burn?).
Lastly, Mathias was really needed so unfairly. Especially the mobbing for allegedly beating Sara and just being let go???? and to Felix = middle finger!

I think it was an underlying thing? Mat was spending more time with him, he did say he cared a lot for erik when they were on the fishing trip....that hug he gave him when erik showed him the full video on what happened back in Bergen....
