Honestly this looks like it'd be perfect for me. I'm looking at a Highland for my next car and my two biggest bugbears with that car is a lack of a dashboard display and the lack of stalks. This little display looks like it'd be perfect for at least solving one of the two issues I have with that car. I'd do a cleaner install though, hiding the cables in the dashboard and figuring out a way to get the cable into the _glovebox_ as opposed to plugging it into the centre console.
Appreciate your comment. I would do a cleaner wiring too if I didn’t have another display lining up for another installation. Check out a few other front instrument cluster displays on my channel when you get a chance. Thank you for watching! Please subscribe for future contents.🙏😃

Great Video, Paul! I like that you are able to try so many different products and give us such good reviews! You are so consistent with your videos, that I had a little déjà vu! I know this is a brand new video, but I felt like I had watched some of it before. 😅 Very well done! 👍
Appreciate your comment. I would recommend this new 8.6” rear display for the value, size and what it offers: ua-cam.com/video/jb3FIJYiyVc/v-deo.htmlsi=DgNACG73bD0L1AfD Thank you for watching! Please subscribe for future contents.🙏😃
Very nice. Have a couple of questions. what about if you put something in navigation. Does it show which direction to turn on the display or anything? Second, can you charge than and just mount them with out being plugged in?
The display doesn’t display any navigation info and it doesn’t have built-in battery so the charging needs to be plugged in for the display to powers and works. Thank you for watching! Please subscribe for future contents.🙏😃
By any chance can you do another video in which you show us how to hide that USB cable? Somehow route it back through the steering column opening, down behind the wireless charging pad and into the center console?
Very helpful review of both products, i like the minimalistic design of the 2.9inch version but it seems like it lacks the turn signal status function and the speed indication might be too small if not configurable. Hard choice between both.

@@dadstoyscars Hi that video helped and I have installed it. Wanted to know if there is a way to update the firmware. I got the small black one. the issue I am seeing that in your video during autopilot and for hands free warning I see the blue ring blinking but in mine it shows in a small text apply steering instead of blinking blue ring which can catch my eye. Is there a way to fix the same?
Mine is the larger display. It get very hot and is showing red cable warning. Customer service states Ihave to remove the dis-lay every 10 minutes. Disappointed ☹️
Appreciate your comment. I will share your feedback with the brand and hopefully they can use this to improve the products. Thank you for your awesome support!🙏
Truly never seen the point to add this junk. From experience, and a practical standpoint, your eyes can either go down OR right, just the same. No need to some redundant junky solution for a problem you won’t have.
Do you have the new update for v12? Because the battery level is not match after the new Tesla update
This may be a good option for when the main screen goes out unexpectedly

What is the best CarPlay for the 2024 model y?
Probably F9 from Hansshow or 9” display from Teslasy.

Thanks for the video…with the turn signal on does either show the red warning if a car is beside you (like on the screen)?
These small displays don’t have blind spot warning.

thanks for your comment,May i know your order number ? we can solve your issues
YES mine gets so hot it shouldn't be taken off just after running.
Explore different shapes, doesn’t have to be a round plug.
Need stuff for the new model 3. Can’t find content on it.
Agree, it could be rectangle shape and use the same charging mount.

With respect, how is this “wireless”? There are literally wires everywhere 😂
This is crap... do not buy it. No idea where to get updates for this thing... and the battery is now showing wrong percentage..
No

Totally unnecessary gadget
Pointless stuff, it’s easier to put a phone there
