Ive been trying to learn this for weeks and u are the only person i actually understand thank you!
I like the way you keep it simple using the opposite to pass. Most of the 5-1 rotation I’ve watched were using 2 Outside hitters to pass. Way easier to learn this way for beginners.
Great, easy explanation of the 5-1!
thank you!
agreed, this helped a lot
of all the tutorials, this video is the most helpful for beginners (for me).
Thank-you for the basics ! I coach middle school and this will make it easier for them!
thank you so much!! this video was really helpful, i started playing volleyball 2020 August and we did a lot of skill training but we never played in tournaments because of covid so we never really focused on rotations, we’re allowed to do tournaments this year now and we are doing the 5-1 rotation! i didn’t get it at first but i think i understand it a lot more now!!! :)
Glad I could help
what is the difference between the base position and the actual
Your actual position is your location on the court in rotation. This is were you would stand before serve/ serve receive. Your base position is where you want to be on the court during a rally. For example, a setter in the front row will move through positions 4,3,2 as their actual position as their team rotates through serve positions but their base position will always be 2. when they are in the back row, their actual positions will be 1,6,5 as their team rotates through serve positions but their base position will always be 1. hope this helps
