I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Good to remind people now; You buy out of fear and sell out of greed, or just see it through for the long haul. It's simple, but many people forget. Time in the market beats market timing. Amazing video. I started investing in the stock market because of dividends. What matters, in my opinion, is that if you invest and earn more money in addition to dividends, you will be able to live off of dividends without selling. It implies that you can pass that on to your children, giving them a head start in life. I've invested over $250k in dividend stocks over the years; I continue to buy more today and will continue to do so until the price lowers even further.

The outstanding catch-up measures currently in place are unquestionably due to the Fed, as they were first too sluggish to contain inflation. The epidemic, supply-chain concerns, and the situation in Ukraine are all factors in the looming perfect storm of inflation. Grey Tie Deer Gareth! ABSOLUTELY fascinating! 👍
I wonder how much better it can do compared to the algorithms the Quants have created over the years for the Financial Industry? First thoughts would be that it would give the general public access to much more 'power' but then I realised, that as far as the market goes, that everyone would be after the same stocks if 'same input=same output. Probably back to square one...will be interesting 2C what happens!
I guess it's better for sales impression but it would be good to see the results in the more proportional and sensible log scale charts; ie. same change every year produces a straight line!
Frustrating, occasionally, that the table headings aren't visible.
    Key Pup the good work!🙂

Interesting video idea. The Dell data is inaccurate though. You have the purchase date of 2016, while the other stocks were around 2003. Dell was around in 2003 and before when it had it's biggest gains. It was taken private later and then IPO'ed after a few years so you are using the data from the second time it was public.
Also, 2003 was when the market bottomed after the Internet Bubble popped. Most of the high flying stocks on your list were down 90% or more from their highs by 2003 (including AMZN). It would be interesting to see the difference in the returns between buying those stocks in 2003 vs buying them in 1999 at the peak. It could be a good lesson to show that you should not buy a company at any price just because it is growing or everyone in the market loves it at the moment.

Use of margin is quite simple, the bank knows where to peg the stock to force a margin call, take any stock that is marginable and place a preorder to buy 100 shares, each order should tell you required buying power, subtract your commissions and divide buy shares , 100 in this case, and bang , you have the range for wipe out of your bet ,go over all your charts and see the bottoms occurring around these zones, these are the true entry points that are complimented by risk reward trading. Peter Lynch has made the comment out of no where many times as to stocks being 50% below yearly highs, and there is a mechanical reason, forget valuations for a moment, at 50% alot of people are going to be wiped out on margin, all loans are safe, we are the fodder for the banks, take advantage of this. Then we have depressed stocks with yearly forecasts for prices, how many times has a stock torpedoed below those values and to what levels? on average your looking for 5 to1 minimum so .50 is maximum entry price for stocks under 2.00, a 10x price is usually forecasted just above the 2.00 range and then you have to know the minimum price and volume rules for stocks to stay listed. For example on the TSX they have the 90 average rule and 1.00 minimum, stocks always dive below it and have ample time to rebound to save the average, this is when I would be asking about debt to cash flow to weed out the potential for bankruptcy. Nevertheless look at any stocks that came out of bankruptcy under .50 offer 10 to 1 or 20 to 1 . Take the oil sector , alot of stocks had huge debt and that scan would have had your mouth watering for the bad news, CVE and CPG on the TSX were two great examples and STEP energy in the service industry for oilfield were great examples of 10X plus returns in under 2 years, STEP was outstanding, it gave back 21 times your investment if you had the balls to ride it out

There are reasons for the downwards trend like competition in the US, in Europe and most of all in China. It needs only 1, only 1 data breach within the Tesla servers and the most valuable asset, the data about all streets, Tesla cars, etc. could be handed over to the competitors (well in most cases to Chinese). Recently we witnessed one with all employees data. And autonomous vehicles are also developed by other companies as well. And at Tesla we have the uncertainty factor Elon! Sorry man, this is your first genuinely terrible video. All it gave you was innovation-flavored word salad. Every question you asked was answered with generic nonsense that could literally be found in ANY company's latest PR.
WHY would it have put $5000 in Apple in 2003, when it had lower revenue than it had in 2000? HOW would it have known to hold through the unprecedented success of the iPod, through the iPhone and iPad, all the way to today? Totally impossible.
It isn't possible for it to pick stocks without bias. AI IS BIAS. It's a means of contextualizing queries for a given data set. ChatGPT also performs its own searches and plagiarizes them, often turning up factually incorrect data, but not knowing any better because it can't.
Get off the hype train. Tech hasn't been living up to its growth reputation for years. Even the largest players like Twitter, need billions and billions and billions of investment to flush down the drain as they simply brute force their way into the public consciousness. AI is no different. What's the business model? You don't need ChatGPT to analyze medical databases.
