@@schusterrides6941 125s are fun, great for tighter trails and keeping it in high rpm’s but this 250 seems to have a lot of power, can’t really use it unless I’m on a straight away. When I do get on it the bike turns into a different bike
I say the stock plastic is better looking than the modern abstract art stuff. I went a bit "Ronnie Mac" on my 2019 plastic, (and put on a 2014 front fender, (new holes needed), so my bikes does not look like a cartoon speed racer/transformer abstract art piece of meaningless junk.
2_stroke pipes are almost always made out of steel. Ti. would be probably double the cost, and aluminum has proven to be on the soft side for durability and performance. Yours is not plated, others are.
"Rust" is what we call oxidation for ferrous metals, (metal with iron in them). But all metals oxidize in our atmosphere. Aluminum for example oxidizes with a white look. Ti. resists oxidation so well, I don't even know what oxidation looks like on it, and i have a Ti. framed Mt. Bike that was made 28 years ago that still looks like new.
I loved when the yamahas looked like that
Dude give us a track day video
Man that low idle sounds good.
Thanks bro, I like the lower idle on all my machines
That’s what I’m saying, I sat here and had to listen to it for a little while, and said “maybe I should get one”
@@schusterrides6941 what do you ride now?
@@tntgarage99 kx85, I’m gonna get a 125 soon but this video makes me want to get a 250 too

The common stuff used to keep raw pipes looking nice was WD-40 and some scotch-brite pad after washing the bike.
Can't wait to finish my 07 making it a yz 300 for a woods an trail weapon.
That’s insane
Good suspension usable power. 83 to 01 used exact same engine.
Got a 10’ yz250 too, cant get it to idle. Big bored it to 294 tho pretty nice
Heck yeah man bet she ripppssss

Hey I’ve got a good trade for you , 06 yz450f complete ground up rebuild
A 2-stroke YZ250 is the better bike by far.
nice bike but sounds crispy, i think that needs a new silencer wool.
Appreciate it, yeah the silencer needs to be repacked for sure
First clue titanium doesn't rust
