A once-upon-a-time Louisville supporter but I'm happy as a pig in slop for Arkansas. I've liked Cal ever since he arrived in Kentucky and I think the folk in Arkansas got themselves a really good coach and an even better person! 'Haven't watch an NCAA game since 2015 but listened to a number of the Kentucky games when Cal was coaching and his postgame interviews/analysis.

Great hire by the hoop hogs. Really wanted Beard so bad!! Thought Cals record wasn't so good during the last 5 years but I was wrong when I found out it was 135-59. That's a 70% winning record. His tournament record stinks in the last 5 years, BUT he does get his teams into the big dance EVERY year and are always ranked. Just hope his fire hasn't fizzled out and that the "big corporations" will finally start to contribute a TON of NIL money to buy a bunch of great players. Our fans just crack me up. Calapari is probably one of the most hated figures in the history of the Razorback program, but when he gets here, we have nothing but glowing things to say about him. That being said, it's delusion like this comment that makes your fan base look worse than you really are. And believe me, I've seen way worse from Kentucky fans this week. Am I sure Calipari can win here, no, but don't act like Arkansas is just a no name program out in the middle of nowhere. Next to Kentucky, Arkansas is probably the second most crazed basketball school in the SEC. And as Trey Biddy said in this video, outsiders like yourself have no clue about how serious we take our basketball and the resources we are willing to give Calipari.

Cal never had trouble getting players...........He lost his way about winning games for who he works for......Believe me UK fans got sick and tired of hearing how many players he put in the NBA and how much they were making.....He worried about that instead of winning for the university....................
Yep and there is more of this to come. Arkansas fans are probably the most wishy washy, fickle bunch of fans on the planet. We have absolutely HATED Cal for the last 15 years. If you polled 100 Arkansans 2 weeks ago and asked did they think Cal had broken and bent rules to get the players her had, I would guess we would have answered 95% plus in the affirmative. Now that he is here, he is a man of integrity. When he has not made a deep tournament run by 2027, these same fans will be calling for his job. These are the same people who ran Muss out of of town after two Elite 8 runs and one bad season.
It’s not that you have a 3rd tier program, it’s that you hired a what is now 3rd tier coach and developer of players. Cal is top tier recruiter no doubt but he is out of touch with the ability to confirm a team into a winning culture with a winning mentality. His nba superstars were always loyal to him, not the school and it reflects down the stretch in March

This isn’t about the program. Your hyping calipari and you are completely overlooking his last 5 years at UK. Why will he do better at Arkansas vs Kentucky? He is a good person and they do wonderful things in the community but as a coach he emphasizes putting kids in the nba over everything. He hates zone. He doesn’t like practicing defense.
