One very mature aspect of toy collecting is patience. It takes a lot of patience that most folks don't have. Like waiting for a company to complete a superhero team or to collect all the characters from a certain Star Wars scene like the Cantina. And then there's hunting to find new releases with the terrible distribution we have nowadays. So many exclusives that sell out instantly and become a chore to find. Easy to want to give up or pay crazy prices on Ebay from scalpers. Unless you have the patience to wait for a deal. And finding old stuff is just a waiting game. One day you'll find stuff on your list at shows or local toy shops, even if it takes years.
I’m a 20 year old who still loves toys and Hello Kitty is my favorite! I won’t let morons tell me what to do! Some toys are literally made for adults, take Hot Toys for example, which means toys are for everyone! Toy Story impacted my life so much, it was the first movie I ever watched literally as a 3 year old and even as an adult Toy Story and all the Pixar classics I ended up growing up I still enjoy so much!
I collected star wars for 7 years since the last jedi. I bought godzilla & kong and marvel, jurassic park & detective comics, transformers for while since I was little boyeh. It doesn't phase me at all my spree doesn't effect nobody. Nobody in my town cares if i buy figures or don't. Its my choice n free choosing do so. Im 20 too. So you were also born 2004? Me too. Edit.
Wow, Such an Inspiration. When I was a kid or Every time I was at School, Some People Judge me for My Hobbies and It Really Ticks me off. But My Family Always tells me that; Don't Listen to them, It's Not Worth it. Ignore Them, It doesn't matter what they say. Collect what you love. And That's what I'm going to do, Enjoy my Hobbies and Ignore the Haters.
I have a collection of DC Comics Action Figures...Mostly Superman.... from the 80's on up. None of them have ever been opened and are in mint condition. My Grandson and I looked up what they would be worth today and boy.....I was shocked ! Wow !!!!
look i'm 24 years old and i grow up with toy story since 2007 when i first watch the movie and i got hookup cause it was a good movie then around the summer of 2009 i saw the teaser of toy story 3 then 2010 toy story 3 came out and it was a good movie
