Just telling you, the sundials don’t spawn megalodons in private servers. They only do In public, and if it does it’s just naturally spawning in your priv or maybe it just has lower chances.

after 2 minutes of the update, i somehow managed to catch the PHANTOM megalodon, the thing is, it was BIG SPARKLING, i got it with bait with high universal luck and the rod i used was Kings rod with 35% resillient enchant, that makes 70%, and it was easy, what can i say

Using fish head bait against Meg is kinda crazy u gotta atleast have resilience in like sunken rod and u could catch Meg with it, it just caps at 5k
dose megalodon only spawn around the ancient island
Btw you can go on a boat and zoom out extremely far so you can see the megalodon
The private server/new server that always spawned a megalodon is now fixed and you have to get lucky :((
On top of that, there is now a glitch where the megalodon event will despawn after like, 2 mins
(I already lost 3 mega events 😭😭😭)
So I wouldn’t recommend hunting for them right now :/

Kyasuke i wanna tell you something , if you want a meg to spawn, you either have to get extremly lucky when joining a new server, or you HAVE to join a server thats atleast 4-5 hours long, and then use sundials

@ that goes towards the “extremely lucky in a new server” the chances are very low, so I just said you have to get lucky in general, the older, the easier it is to get the megaladon

I used the resilient reinforced rod to catch it and it was very easy
there are meteor spawn tokens in roslit volcano for 75k each
