" patangey rukhsat shamoon se ho rahe hai" Patangey- flies that flock the lamp (even when they know that if they try to merge with light they will die...still flock to it) Rukhsat: moving away, departure. Shamoon: lamps Relating to previous line it's that time when ...Even the flies( that are so in attachment with the light) are leaving the sight of lamp .... hai kooch ka waqt aasma par" Kooch - to depart, waqt- time of day (here) , aasma par- in the sky So in relation to first line and considering that party comes to end in late night .....the line means Even hues of the skies are showing that departure is near "Tare kahin naam ko rahe hai Tare : stars , naam ko: namesake rahe : that are left As the time has come in the singers life that end is near he /she is relating this with the nature wherein sun is about to set in and night (memorable time here) is all set to embrace the dusk and there are only a few stars just for namesake to cover this entire sky. Rashid's character is a tragic one in the novel too. He is young and full of idealism, but neither his family nor the world is interested. They cast him out. It's nice that his character stayed with you!

Relating to previous line it's that time when ...Even the flies( that are so in attachment with the light) are leaving the sight of lamp ....

So in relation to first line and considering that party comes to end in late night .....the line means
Even hues of the skies are showing that departure is near

As the time has come in the singers life that end is near he /she is relating this with the nature wherein sun is about to set in and night (memorable time here) is all set to embrace the dusk and there are only a few stars just for namesake to cover this entire sky. Thus the beauty of the night sky and all the enchantment that so far existed will come to an end.
