hi shield, should I enhance gear to level 40 or 2 gear level 20, which is good?

the better enhance level, the better we using essence stone, right?
Make two gear level 20
Maximum enhancement level is 100
But after 100 level enhancement, you can ascend your mythic gear to legendary gear

You forgot to explain why I have to upgrade the gear to at least lvl 40, or did I miss it?
I did not explain it. I told level 40 as a mark because level 40 looks much balanced. Below 40, the stats are very low. Above 40, it is very hard to enhance. I just set level 40 as a mark of balance

Level 40 is standard of F2P. Below 40 is extremely weak, above 40 is extremely strong which is hard for F2P. To maintain the stats, level 40 is good option
Should I avoid upgrading Epic gear? Is it a waste? I feel like if I upgrade Epic gear then get a Mythic replacement it is a waste, no?
No upgrading epic gear is not waste. But I recommend you to make your epic gear upgrade till level 30. In starting, you will not get mythic gear. So use epic gears and upgrade till level 30. When you get mythic gear, replace the epic gear and put that epic gear to any low level hero. Your main hero will be strong with mythic gear and your low level heroes will also be good with epic gears
