okay so I am the last person people would think is even remotely knowledgeable about any kind of dance style but this, Krump. man.. just makes me wonder where it came from and how it came to be. it's damn aggressive,watching these guys just makes me think about the streets, the hustle, the struggle that the originators of this style went through,its packed with emotions and passion and skill. damn damn damn.

Started in South Central Los Angeles. Just like the previous comment stated started from clown dancing. Clown dancers would always go against each other for prizes which is where the aggressive nature comes from.

@@2010josem Lies. Between 8-10 years ago, there was only black youths that knew of this dance. It became mainstream after the movie "Stomp the Yard", and to be honest, now, krumping is white washed. It's been slowed down for others to keep up. Krumping use to be a outlet of emotions and expression between the black communities. Now, to the world, it's just a trend.
