Hey Maria! My recovery drink is natural. I juice Beets, Carrots, Green Apple. My pre-workout is made in batches and put in 2oz bottles- Two Fresh squeezed Oranges and Meyer Lemons, A hand sized amount of Fresh Ginger and Turmeric Root, Blend with Organic Coconut Water Strain with a sieve or cheese cloth. Add in Black or Red Pepper, stir and pour into 2oz glass bottles. Male a two week supply.
Hey Maria, luv your vlogs. This is a type of recovery tip...it's two fold because it helps with weight loss. I recently changed my workout by eating breakfast before working out....I hate eating early BUT I was not losing any weight due to the fact that I found out my body was holding on to the FAT because I was doing 2+ hour workouts and not eating until 1pm. I thought the intermittent fasting was helping but it was doing the reverse. My body felt like I was starving it... So now I split my workout up by walking about 8K on lime juice and black cumin seed oil (some fat). then upon returning from my walk I eat a high protein breakfast, digest for about 40 min then complete my workout (resistance training only no cardio). I dropped 3 pounds in the first 2 weeks doing this where as I was at a plateau before that....
@@bellarosablog you're welcome...when we eat less our body says...hmmm..i'm holding on to every morsal of fat in this food because I don't know when you are going to feed me again...I've increased my calories and I'm actually losing weight. 😁
I don’t strength train in the morning, worse on an empty stomach. Your thyroid levels tend to be lower, so flooding your body with the stress hormone cortisol is detrimental. I do light Pilates for 20 mins in the morning, ensure I have two oranges juices before to increase my blood sugar levels, then a protein/collagen shake after. When weight training (evenings only) I ensure I am regularly consuming 70g protein. Enough fat & lower carbs. Your macros are v important when training. I also make my own magnesium oil as spray is not enough. Lastly & most importantly, I supplement b12. I actually take the injections for better efficacy. The b12 supplementation will work a lot of wonders when strength training as growing muscles wipes your b12.

When I started, I was doing fasted workouts, but recently, I started eating a banana before every workout and eating a high-protein breakfast immediately after. I notice a change.
@@bellarosablogfasted work outs could eventually wipe your thyroid.. just throw a lil sumn in your tummy before. A good pre work out shake + post work out shake should do the trick. Keep researching & keep tweaking things until you find what works best for you. I’m sure you’ll find your own lil rhythm 😊
