Great video. I am looking at loads of similar videos at the moment -re ECU tune of the C8 RS6 post June 2020 (when I understand there was some locking down of the ECU). From what I gather from this video is that a direct upload to the ECU was made with the new map without issue ? Cheers Mark (looking to do this with a UK 2023 RS6).
Saw one of these a few weeks ago. It was parked at a business in Moosic, PA. Same color, same rims. I wanted to pull in and talk to the guy because I was in my S4 and get a pic. But was on my way back from lunch and had an appointment so kept going. I think that was 1 of maybe 2 or 3 ive ever seen. Clicked this video thinking it was possibly the same car. But I see the garage you mention is in Canada.
@@VancityAudi Absolutely. Crazy enough Ive only ever seen 2 other sprint blue B8 s4s in the wild during the 6 years ive had mine. Hard to believe more people didnt order that color.
Some variables to think of.. Stock tuned results you have shown does have bolt-ons as mentioned/listed, so its hard to really state it being under rated from factory, plus added ethanol ;--) Would be nice to see what she would have ran with just plan ol 93 octane (e5-10%) compared to this E20 blend but that wouldn't give as good of numbers, props for mentioning this! People may not realize how much that actually does helps. As always, I enjoyed these videos and the rest of your RS6 content you've shared thank you. There isn't much on UA-cam please continue.
Bolt on hardware won't make any more power on an untuned vehicle. At least that's what we've repeatedly seen in our testing on multiple Audi's and VW's. That's why we didn't mind doing it this way. Our fuel in Vancouver, Canada is horrifically bad. If we would have run straight Shell 93 the car would have made F-all for power. We also would have never run the 93 octane tune on straight 93 pump gas for fear of the car pulling an extreme amount of timing. I'll try my best to get this and other local RS6's on the channel again. I'll be filming with one other one soon so stay tuned! Thanks for watching!
@@VancityAudi Strongly disagree regarding these RS6's, they actually do pick up power with intakes and dp's and has been proven. Let alone E20 which you and I both know helps. Hear you on 93, been doing that with all M/amg's and rs cars they love it! That would be great to see more RS6 content!
@@MODIT we'll see what I can do about proving you right or wrong with the next RS6 I'll be filming with. Perhaps he'll be interested in seeing the gains of an air intake with a stock tune before we tune it? I'll be able to see it with my own eyes then.
@@VancityAudi Sounds cool. Been doing my own testing and its pretty impressive how restrictive the stock intake is. Even a filter swap yields 10 rwhp. Regardless, keep up the content. Love the videos!
@@THEDOPEYDAISY thank you. I did search that and didn't see a video featuring the direct gains from an Eventuri Intake with same day before and after numbers.

Were you wanting to know the exact brand and octane of fuel we used to make the E20 blend? If so, then my bad. We mixed E100 with Shell 93 which already has 10% ethanol content.
@@eliasgraf1109 if it is, I'll have to explain that with an E20 blend it wouldn't change the results of these tests. Regardless of what base fuel you used you'd surpass the 93 octane needed for the Stage 1+ tune and would have achieved the same results.
@@VancityAudi Imagine what it would run if it weighed like a normal weight car around 3800-4000 LBS? It's impressive, but way too heavy for me. Plenty of better performance cars in that price range as well. And I am an Audi lover.
@@rastaph the thing is it isn't supposed to compete with your traditional performance car. It is a very unique and special vehicle. Awesome video, Adam! This beast is something else for sure and we have plenty in the works for it!
Keep it coming! This thing rips!!!
Hey, i thought you can only have downpipes with stage 2 not 1+?
Very impressive. Seeing one in person is completely different ballgame.

Yes. He simply plugged in his UniConnect cable and flashed the ECU with his laptop with the new tune. Easy, peasy

Sweet!
The full EVENTURI intake with inlets makes 40bhp+ at the crank alone, that’s been tested independently.
Please send a link to these tests. Thank you

Wicked. They gonna let you take it out for some Dragy runs?
I believe they'll be joining me at the race track this year. With any luck, they'll let me race it.
How is this a stock pull? E20 gas? Intake etc..... what you mean to say it’s on a stock tune file.
Yes, that's what I meant. I thought that was obvious when in the same sentence I mentioned E20 fuel and bolt on's.
🔥🔥🔥
Hey Adam, was this on dynojet or mustang calibration?

Wow! What a beast. What fuel were they using. Thx for sharing.
I state the fuel within the first minute of the video
@@VancityAudi
Doesn’t state what fuel you started with in the first minute. Just that it’s E20 blended now.

Hey Adam, if you had to choose between the rs6 and the e63s. Which one would it be?
I'm an Audi whore at heart. RS6 Avant all the way.
Just wondering what sensor you used to measure the ethanol content? Is there any specific one for C8 RS6?
We simply used an online ethanol calulator. I do not recommend anyone use this method.
Wow
what would that power be at the crank would you say.?
In my opinion Dynojet numbers are inflated. I only add a 10% drivetrain loss to Dynojet numbers but most add a minimum of 15%.
Time 100-200?
No idea, he hasn't Dragy tested it. He should be at the track with me though in the next month.
wait wait wait, this is a 100whp/wtq gain on JUST a tune running 91??? So I could only imagine what gains on 93 or an E40 would yeild?😮😮😮😮
The Stage 1+ tune needs 93 octane fuel.
That dyno show fantasy numbers! 🤦🏼♂️ why are they using there dyno like this? Does numbers are more like engine figures.
