Nice mate, I weighted my cheap Adder bolts I got on Amazon, I put aluminium rod in them, standard weight was 13 grams, and the new weight 21. Sorted!

Hey out of interest how did the bolts do? I'm trying to work out a rough rule of thumb for pistol crossbow arrow weight per lb of draw weight. Seems like the vlad and adder both come with incredibly light arrows? Would you agree?

@@c.m5043 a general rule of thumb should for every lb or draw weight you have, the bolt should weigh double, so if you have 90lb of DW the total weight of the bolt should be 180 grams

Brilliant that you can make such a difference so easily. Looking forward to the testing with these to see just how much better they are.

I've just tried using bicycle exterior brake cable in mine and it fits perfectly and you can cut it to length easily. remember it must be brake cable as gear cable is a smaller diameter. this was also on the Steambow blue bolts. but my be similar

Some people mentioned the 90lb arm messing up their bolts so this would be great. I think you would do a good job of reviewing markers. I'm looking into one with some seriously impressive rounds for home defence. Thanks for the tip👍🏿

Very good, looking forward to seeing the level of impact these have in the test. Would also be interesting to show how speed is affected and how much the resulting ft/lb alters from standard to modified bolts, ie when speed is exchanged for mass.

    It's fantastic!
Would you kindly tell me that
    1) what is its size (length)?
    2) how far it can fly for your bow(90lb)? how far it can fly for a 60lb bow(my bow is 60lb)?
What is its killing distance (90lb/60lb)?

Why not turn them into bodkins and sell them as the heaviest 6.5 in bolts on the market. Beats the 200 gr. Gogun bolts hands down I bet.
