    Here's a review of three bikes, but we will only talk about two of them, and not show any of them, cause, you know, video.

      Maybe there is a video embargo. Many car and motorcycle manufacturers do this; see the latest Triumph Street Triple videos. The actual review videos won't be released until actual review motorcycles are given out to the press.

      I'm about the same size as you (6' 225 lbs), I need a dirt bike that can handle me(without needing thousands of $$ in suspension work, etc)....I've been bombing around on a Pitster Pro XTR250 and its killing me.. I haven't been to the the dealers yet to put eyeballs on the new 300R but if its anything like the older 300R's it should do the job for bigger riders

    Late 80’s-early 90’s my best friend had a 200cc two-stroke Kawasaki dual-sport...pretty sure it was a lot cheaper, lighter, and more importantly more fun to ride than these 4-strokes we are stuck with today. I count myself lucky to have grown up on two-stokes.

    • @AllHail_PHARAOH

      @@GoshGollie Joshua Jollie comprehensive skills are very important..... he's not comparing the bikes. He's referencing the bike. Referring and Comparing are two different things my friend lol... furthermore he clearly states that the ktm300 comes with superior mechanics.
      He also uses the word "Equivalently" meaning to correspond something to another's meaning, other words to allude to something.
      Obviously we all know kx300 and Ktm300 are not in the same league buddy. Lol... Which is why he "referenced" the ktm300 as something that corresponds to another big brand machine that has 300cc's.

    • @GoshGollie
      @GoshGollie 4 роки тому +1

      Nah, he said “equivalent KTM type” What he’s saying is that you could take that bike right there and if it was sold by KTM and not kawi it would be north of 10 grand, and thats why comprehensive skills are important kiddo. That bike is not “equivalent” to a ktm300. He is basically saying they are in the same class, but does note that the KTM is higher quality.

    • @AllHail_PHARAOH
      @AllHail_PHARAOH 4 роки тому +2

      @@GoshGollie context my guy context. Which is apart of comprehensive skills. Lol Again referring(Alluding) to something is not the same as comparing.... it would make no sense for you to say he's comparing the bikes because OBVIOUSLY he siad "there is nothing to compare the kxl300r to" lmaoo...... so if he clearly siad that then context wise you didnt get it. He alluded to a KTM300, Alluded means suggestive to or call attention to indirectly. In which a ktm300 is another big brand bike that is classified as 300cc's. Which is why he REFERENCE the ktm300. Not compare them...smh

      I suspect Kawi is going to sell a decent amount of these. This is just enough better than the other "trail bikes" it competes with. The TTR230 and the CRF250F are both air cooled jokes and the KTMs cost almost 10 grand. If you want to buy new and don't want a dinosaur or a money pit, this is the one and only from the big 4.

    Both these bike sound great to bad they are so massively heavy. Knock 40-50lbs off them you would have exceptional beginner bikes. At 282 lbs that klx300 is 50lbs heavier then my kx450. That is alot of weight for a beginner to manage.
    To bad the manufacturers dont recognize that these fun family style bikes would be better if they were lighter.

      You are not going to get electric start and a aluminum frame at the price point of the 300r . I have one and have had everything else from a ttr230 to a cr 250 to the wr 450 . This bike falls right in the middle. It has enough power to get you up any hill and is balanced really well for slow woods riding. I definitely need to do the fuel programming and a exhaust to wake it up because it does feel choked off. All in all it's a great bike and is very well built for the price .
