If you manage to somehow get caught, you will be released either on $0-$5 bail or OR (free, u promise to come to court) within 1-3 days maximum.
Bro this is the whole state. I live in chico, way up above sac. Like 2 hours above sac. And they won't prosecute petty crimes. They bus in homeless here from the bay and sac areas because the city gets money from the state of they accept homeless. Then the homless just steal and rob without penalty. If tou do get caught its jist catch and release and they are back at it again hours later. There are multiple people going to jail multiple times per day with no charges being filed. That why our young adults are living in debt and/or living paycheck to paycheck or flat out homeless. To make matters worse is that our middle & high school system is outdated and don’t provide our kids with jobs skills that they could take out of high school and into the job force with if they don’t want to attend college. All of those failures ultimately feeds into poverty, crime, and the for-profit prison industry.
I'm from Cleveland Ohio. With that being said San Francisco still of the cities I've always wanted to visit. I just like how it looks out there. The architecture is so much different than the rest of the US. If I could afford it, that's where I would live.

The black folks lived in the Filmore. The housing vouchers from the new deal allowed whites to move down to the rapidly growing South Bay and peninsula area.
