I have talked to the seller in china directly, they confirmed me that this gex rear derailleur (gravel version) can be paired with eds shifters (road version), by doing this, you can get a fully wireless group set with a huuuuge range of gear ratio. This is the true group set of people.

What a great and comprehensive video! As it happens I had just planned to build my first gravel bike and both the GeX and Graro were already on my shortlist of bits so this came incredibly handy. Can’t wait for the follow-up with weights and other details.
I am planning on gettin the Graro as well as the carbon gravel wheels from Ican and then of course the Wheeltop groupset. For the crankset and BB I am considering a carbon set from Aliexpress, same with the cassette - a lightweight Aliexpress one and one of the 3D saddles from one of your earlier videos. Will be interesting to see if there is any noticable weight difference to what your build ended up being.
Keep up the good work, subscribed for sure 😊

I wonder about carbon cranks for gravel... greater chance of smashing them from pedal strike? I've gone back to aluminium ones and put the carbon job on my road bike. But maybe I'm just too cautious. 😉

Hi there. Love all your videos. Have bought a Graro and waiting for it. I have not bought the groupset yet, as I am not sure how big a singlespeed chainring it will take. They come with the same protruding retaining pin for the brake pads which has a notch for the safety clip, but shimano clips won't fit as well. However, they are not needed. I use a 12-speed SunRace CSMZ90 sram indexed cassette on a shimano HG. It was clear to me that I had to adjust the indexing. Set to 12-speed in the app. The smallest sprocket is set to 0, so it can't be reduced any further. So I wanted to adjust the limit screw.
    ua-cam.com/video/j9VDmwrhLQw/v-deo.html
But here too, nothing happens when you unscrew it, screwing it in moves the derailleur even more towards the large sprocket.
In other yt videos it is also claimed that both limit screws are under the clutch cover and not as shown here

One your ride it in the mud.............the other one you ride it in the dirt, that as gravel. But what IF you ride a cyclo-cross bike on the gravel road? Then it becomes a "gravel" bike and stops being called a "cyclo-cross" bike. And there! It's the difference.
