I have talked to the seller in china directly, they confirmed me that this gex rear derailleur (gravel version) can be paired with eds shifters (road version), by doing this, you can get a fully wireless group set with a huuuuge range of gear ratio. This is the true group set of people.

What a great and comprehensive video! As it happens I had just planned to build my first gravel bike and both the GeX and Graro were already on my shortlist of bits so this came incredibly handy. Can’t wait for the follow-up with weights and other details. I am planning on gettin the Graro as well as the carbon gravel wheels from Ican and then of course the Wheeltop groupset. For the crankset and BB I am considering a carbon set from Aliexpress, same with the cassette - a lightweight Aliexpress one and one of the 3D saddles from one of your earlier videos. Will be interesting to see if there is any noticable weight difference to what your build ended up being. Keep up the good work, subscribed for sure 😊
I wonder about carbon cranks for gravel... greater chance of smashing them from pedal strike? I've gone back to aluminium ones and put the carbon job on my road bike. But maybe I'm just too cautious. 😉

Great video on the GeX. I'm considering this for my gravel bike, so this really helps. Wheeltop should have a better app IMO. One should be able to simply select the cassette, e.g. Shimano 11 speed, Sram 12, Campy 13...

Hi there. Love all your videos. Have bought a Graro and waiting for it. I have not bought the groupset yet, as I am not sure how big a singlespeed chainring it will take. Official ican information is 42 tooth, but I wonder if it might actually take a bit more. If it only takes 42 I might have to buy a 2x chainset. What do you reckon?
@stevenleffanue no it does not. The max size of chainrings depends on the frame. Too big chainring rubs against the frame. I ask if it can take more than 42 single chainring. I ask OZ cycles. Thank you.
@@stevenleffanue you are probably right about that. I was thinking about single chainring still. Not the double. But while we are add it, do you think I can fit 105 elektronic on it? It's got 50/34. Ican states it only takes 48/31 on double chainset.
