Hi my attempt to put the copper twist on my fan was a complete failure. First I think the copper wire I bought was too thick. Then the clear packing tape would not hold them on the blades. I bought enough wire for two fans. Any other suggestions of how to use the wire I purchased, cut and twisted?

Thank you for not giving up and asking for help, Ivy! Let's see if we can get you squared away. Make sure you use 3M tape because it is consistently great tape. "Duck" and other brand tapes can be hit or miss. Also, be sure to wipe off the blades for any dust with a damp paper towel or cloth just in case a little unseen dust might have complicated the issue.
Another little tip when putting the tape on is to make sure the tape gets a good grab not just at the highest point of the wire but pretty much all around it.Use your fingers to make sure the tape gets a good grab along the surfaces of the wire.
If those tips don't solve the issue another option would be to get some of that packing tape that is reinforced to be super strong.
If none of this solves the challenge, you might stop by a real hardware store and find a late middle aged man who works there and ask for his advice. He'll likely be a former homebuilder or renovator.
Be sure to let him know exactly what you're up to, because he might do the same in his home. haha You might even show him your twisted copper wire so hat he gets the picture.
Not all is lost if the wire is just too heavy. We don't want your efforts to be wasted! (What gauge is it, btw, so I can inform everyone.) You could hang the wires up vertically, perhaps on a clothes hanger rack, and let an oscillating fan blow back and forth on them to get them moving a bit. Your payback will be a countless number of friendly frequencies constantly imbuing your residence. (They will actually travel much further than that.)
Finally, in case you're not familiar with the disk shaped Multi Wave Oscillator antennas, you might decide in the future to get yourself a couple of those. I have ordered a couple of the 300mm myself in the last few days from aplicum.com.

@@kelleyeidem667 Thank you for your input. I will try again I don’t know what gage the wire was . I was also looking for you video about using the copper scrubber. I can’t seem to find it n.

@@ivytobin2234 In that video, I sugeest cutting the scrubbie pads, but that can result in tiny pieces of copper finding their way to the floor. So basically, if you want to use them simply thread it with a string, wire or rubberized cord to hang them up and let an oscillating fan blow on them.
