Yeah sure, go ahead and put my dog in with some strange dog whose temperament I don't know, whose vaccination record I don't know, while both dogs are in a new stressful situation, and in a busy area where there's probably little supervision. I can't believe people agree to that sight unseen!
That schnauzer dog owner is a fool. Why on earth would they not put a simple collar on the dog to ensure the right dog gets the medication? I can't believe people send their dogs abroad without even a collar with owners phone number in case the dogs get out or the paperwork gets lost.
I've noticed that the dogs do not have collars on them in many episodes. I'm wondering if they are not allowed to have collars on in the crates for safety reasons? I think a silly but effective solution for that situation would have been for the owners to shave the dogs' names (or even an initial) into the dogs coats before the trip. ARC staff most likely would have had to verify ID with the microchip before administering the drug anyway.
