Wassup Shaw, love your content, you correct about the front of the Red by Kiss trimmer, if they would go back to the drawing board and add just a little piece to cover the spinning blade motor those trimmers would be 10/10 based on price and performance. I slightly zero gapped mine and those bad boys cut damn near just as good as the $100+ dollar trimmers.

I really enjoy them other than get hair stuck in them if I’m not careful. They are the only trim on my station currently. They work well enough. I might need to adjust them or zero gap to make them cut a little clearer. I normally just use a razor after them each time. Except with kids.
@@shawspeaks8252 yea I agree if you use a razor then trimmers really just set the blueprint for the razor to follow. I understand times have changed but I went on these major clipper companies websites to look at trimmers and I refuse to pay 150+ dollars for a pair of just trimmers. I’m 37, so I’m old enough to remember a time when 150 dollars could get you the clipper, trimmer, and every other accessory needed.

I completely understand what you are saying. I don’t use the Brookstones as often so they should last a very long time. I use them only for personal use. the Reds are used in the Shop on a daily basis. If anything goes wrong I will do an update. much respect
The Brookstone actually kinda cuts better too I have them myself
