Can I apply it on the scalp?
I have heard turmeric cannot be used on hair as it ll cause hair to fall
Hi Anupama, yes hon. Turmeric cannot be used on hair. You can make neem oil and apply it for scalp eczema. The other remedy that works well is apple cider vinegar. Mix 1 tbsp ACV with 1 tbsp water and massage it on your scalp and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes and wash it with home made shampoo or shikakai or simply with mung dal and fenugreek seeds powder. Mung and fenugreek they both have the tendency to keep the scalp moisture, so it will also reduce the itching.

Just an FYI, there is a new additive called phenoxyethanol which is
added in many creams, lotions, makeups,and baby wipes which actually CAUSES eczema.

Hi, I have eczema under my feet. It's a 1 inch area. Its always itchy and flecky. I have had a history with eczema for a long time. So I always put ointments or medicines that my dr had instructed but nothing seems to work. Please suggest me something that it would make it go. And can I take Neem medicine supplements for eczema???

Do you live in US?you mentioned it for the kids..what if there is a unspecified eczema for adults of age30+? Also the triggers u said say for eg: milk, sugar wheat etc should be avoided completely? Or in moderation ? Also will there be a symptom like the hand palm cracks and bleeds when u stretch?
Hi Amuthavalli, I live in UK. The treatment is the same for adults too. The food items that I have mentioned are the most common eczema triggers, anyone of them or combination of them might trigger eczema. The first thing to be done is, to take a food allergy test. Then you will know that which food you are allergic to. Eczema comes in many forms. Some get itchy scalp and itchy and dry skin. But some get the severe condition of skin flaking and bleeding. In my daughter's cause since we couldn't find out the food that triggered it, we were told to avoid those food items completely. Hope this helps.

Changing your diet to an anti-inflammatory diet helps as well. This includes mainly plant based with occasional fish. Also, consider getting a shower filter. My favorite one is Pelican
