I struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and am in recovery from anorexia. My faith has been tested time and time again through these trials and for a time I lost my faith...but I know believe more than ever before. I met so many amazing people in my treatment centers, I've been shown so much love, I've learned a lot about myself, and I know that ALL of these blessings come from my God. I don't doubt Him anymore because He has been there for me through it all.
+Lily O'Connor I just wanted to tell you that you are a blessing. Never think that your not, your His child. You might wonder or ? His ways but once you say yes to Him, He never let's you go. The devil will always try to make turn from Him but you already have the armor that you need to defeat him. Lily you are a child of the most High and you can never be defeated. Stay strong in Jesus, just call on Him when your down and He will lift you up. Just remember your a blessing in every storm.

Your better than me. I've forsaken God a lot. And I can't afford not to or He'll destroy me. He probably knew it would come to this. Since I've rebelled most of my childhood and teen years. I use to bring a lot of joy when I was my sweet happy self. But I've also brought a lot of grief. I've been one to hold things off till last minute. And I guess it applies to my faith too. I deserve His mercy less than anyone else.
Lily O You are in the right part. His grace is sufficient for you. You are special, beautiful , fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Just the way you are. Stay strong. You are an overcomer!
On October 3rd 2008 at 1:00pm my wife Victoria Jay Pelley “Viki” passed into eternity and for her the journey has really just begun. She fought the good fight of faith. And through her entire ordeal she never lost her faith in fact her life & death is a testimony to faith, love and endurance. For us that knew her she will be deeply missed, but never forgotten…Just hours before she passed, I crawled into the bed with her and held her very close for hours…she died peacefully with her family at her side...what a precious gift we shared. I am blessed beyond words to have ever known this amazing wonderful woman. On October 11th 2007 Viki suffered a massive brain stem stroke. For the first three months after her stroke she was in what is called "Locked in Syndrome", completely unable to move any part of her body. The only way we had of communicating with her was she could blink once for yes and twice for no. She was on life support for nearly three months than slowly began to breathe on her own. All of her higher functions were unharmed by the stroke and she had complete sensation in all of her body she was just unable to move anything below her head. She regained only minor head movement and facial expressions. I learned to read her lips so we could communicate better and what I could not understand by reading her lips we used an information board and the alphabet. The prognosis was never encouraging; the doctors had given her less than 2% chance for a recovery and had basically told me that she would most likely remain a quadriplegic for the rest of her life.

I don't have to think back too far to recall laying on my living room floor on the hardwood all alone in a puddle of tears, crying out to God to take this pain and suffering or just take me and let me die it just seemed like more than I could bear. This month on the 27th it is one year since my Wife Sam died and on September 17th it will be twenty-three years since my Wife Valerie died. Never once did I consider walking away from God. In all the pain and tears all I could do was hold on to Gods promise that He would bring me through this pain and loss. It all seemed so unimaginable at times after having gone through this once and now a second time. How could this happen twice? Why? What did I do to deserve this? I can tell you so many people said to me how can you praise God after all you have been through? How can you still believe God loves you after this? This is why because we live in a fallen world and God did not do this to me or my wives that are gone. But I can say I can count a million times people asking me how I can praise you, after all, I have been through...
