Don't need social media to tell you looks are everything. Go outside and and notice the different people and how they get treated. Go to the clubs and notice how every woman eyes lay on the good looking dude. Look at the good looking people with criminal records and the time they serve compared to ugly people. Looks really do determine your life... they've been getting compliments since they were a kid, high school and as an adult, and generally loved by everyone. These people just cruise by life on easy mode because they get the opportunities to much easier. There is no coping about dressing nicely, having a nice car, smelling really good or even putting on this superficial act of "personality" or "confidence". They already gained the natural confidence and personality from how they've been treated and have natural charisma too. It's all they have to get a girlfriend and even that is not needed.
Your thoughts are so true. This looksmaxxing stuff can be super harmful. Especially with the rest of the philosophy of hopelessness that comes along with much of it. I really believed it all so much at one point

One problem I have atm with lookmaxing is the stigma it brings to men who just want to have good hygiene and look nice. Mewing and jelquing are stupid but moisturizing, working out, and taking vitamins while also trying to improve your wardrobe should be advocated for. Like I have gotten way more success with women just by growing out my hair and wearing nice clothes that fit me well.
Mewing is just tongue posture. It won't change the size of a recessed mandible, but it will help with repositioning the mandible to make it appear less like that of a mouth breather. It also helps strengthen the hyoid bone, which makes the jaw look smaller if the bone is too low. It has helped me look a bit better, so I think it's worth learning, especially since it's not dangerous.
Scams based on insecurities like this have to be some of the hardest to stop. It’s a lot harder to convince someone they’re being scammed when they have no self esteem. People overestimate their own qualities. So if a guy is saying he's attractive that may not be true. If you really are attractive you'd get attention or receive matches on a dating app, results speak for themselves
Those things also aren't the most important. Like someone could have all those attributes, but that's doesn't mean you'll make any sort of meaningful connection with them.

Anyone who is into looksmaxxing is deeply insecure and craves attention and validation from other people simply for their looks which will be their downfall because living life thinking looks are the most important thing will stop you from achieving anything.
It wont. If you were better looking you'd get attention from women, make friends easier, have people want to actually be seen with you in public at settings like clubs, bars etc. You would inherently have more confidence if you were born with the right looks.

I am 17 currently, and still struggle with my self image/confidence and have frequent episodes of body dysmorphia because of the content that I had been exposed to at a young age, and the constant negativity being spread on the internet about my body. I remember being only 11 or 12 years old, and coming across these videos and posts on UA-cam and across various other social media platforms that would say things like "You have to have an above average penis to find love" and "you have to be incredibly fit in order to be found attractive, you have to be 6 feet tall, if you do not do so-and-so to make you look a certain way then you'll be lonely" etc. Everywhere I would go, I would just see this constant misinformation, and others seeing it made them believe that it was fact too. I remember being in 7th grade and hearing students around me too, and all of that really affected me and made me hate my body and convinced me that unless my body was a certain way, then nobody would take interest in me. (Long rant about looksmaxxing) Mewing is just the right position of the tongue. If you try to swallow with your mouth closed, you're automatically mewing. The problem with the whole mewing community is that people are selling the idea that it will give you this super aesthetic gigachad jawline, when in fact it is just preventing the risks that come with mouth breathing (unless you are a baby, mewing will not develop your jaw in any way). It is a good practice, but people exaggerate the benefits. Online scum influencers will of course capitalise on this insecurity, selling their crappy "Mogwarts" courses that supposedly share the secret Greek archives of ancient looksmaxxing techniques, now only locked behind a paywall in their jurisdiction. In general, these people who seek to achieve perfect facial features (what and who even defines what is perfect??) are just unhappy and clearly have a lack of self/community. I think it is especially due to a lack of interpersonal relationships, that they think looks are the problem, or that they are just looking for an excuse to continue being antisocial instead of actually going out and meeting people/women in particular. If I told any of these people that different women have different preferences in what they like, they'd resort to "it's over", "I'm not Sean o pry gigachad" or some verbal diarrhoea like that. I can't deny that looks play a part, but you have no choice but to play the hand you're dealt. Attraction isn’t something completely one dimensional based on only looks. It's much more than that in current civilisation. They just refuse to give themselves a chance and succumb to this delusional endless self-grooming. I could go on, but my honest best advice is to just live life as it is. Count your blessings and use them to your advantage. Seek out connections and try to improve yourself in different ways, not only lookism.

Well, I'm sure it must be horrifically difficult for these types of people to live with themselves as they are. I mean, if they were successful and happy, they wouldn't be doing this stuff. When it comes to having "inferior genetics" that you can't change, finding reasons to live probably isn't easy.
A lot of dating is eugenics. Don't fit certain beauty standards? You're not gonna really get anyone. Also people's reactions to snakes, spiders, and sharks are all extreme examples of the beauty standards and ugly bias. How many people kill spiders because they look creepy? Cows kill more people than sharks every year but most people are way more scared of sharks.

It just goes to show how much porn has negatively affected people. For women, they feel that they need to have unrealistic body proportions to be deemed attractive and for men they feel that they need to have a monster penis to pleasure a woman. In fact, porn has made the impression that a big penis is destined to make a woman orgasm - but as a matter of fact, most women don't even finish from penetration, so when a guy can't make a woman orgasm from penetration and unrealistically writhe in pleasure they get insecure and end up thinking their size is inadequate when that's just not always the case. People are experiencing things through a screen and taking it for granted which is sad to watch.
Imagine explaining to someone from the 17th century that in the future there will be guys speaking with stars in their eyes about some other man who is "the GOAT of the old 'money-shot'".
imagine explaining to them that people will spend hundreds of dollars (which will be even more dramatic because of inflation) for devices that stretch their ween thinking it will attract more women while they neglect everything else about themselves and their behavior
Imagine explaining to them that there’s a surgery that breaks your bones, keeps them broken, inserts a rod, and stretches the leg over a long period of time just to achieve a couple of inches.

I know that normal people can find love, but that doesn't mean they necessarily will. The best piece of advice I have ever heard similar to this is something along the lines of "none of those 3rd member growers or extenders work, because if they did they would be everywhere and literally everyone would be using them" A kinda similar thing happened with diet pills, most people knew they were a scam and wouldn't take them, but once Ozempic came around literally everyone was using it because it actually worked (you shouldnt actually take it to lose weight, but its a good example of this case) If the same thing existed for growing your 3rd member the same thing would happen, but it never has, ie meaning none of them actual work lmao

Then I wear the penis stretcher as long as possible, until my tip feels numb, my penis head has blisters and it hurts. So to help it heal I wear a tight elastic tube to compress the penis tissue with a cock ring, keeps it extended and full of blood, and forces outward pressure. 7 days a week, I’ve gained 2.25 inches in length, permanently, and 1.5 inches in girth.
@@DestroAzureDx So? Are you gonna cry about it? Life is unfair boo hoo womp womp. You know what, because looks matter so much, if you aren't a perfect 10/10 model just give up, waste your life away and accept that you'll never amount to anything, make sure to also go on forums and cry and seethe all day about how looks matter to other random people online and to those who don't care just say they are coping, that'll surely get them.
@@viktorchochkov7507 no i'd rather people like you stop lying and acting that everything you get out of life is based on effort
@@DestroAzureDx I'm not lying, I'm telling you that with my life experience I've noticed that the most social people I've seen and those who have accomplished the most are not model looking, they just have charisma which is something you don't get with looks alone.
And btw no, tiktoks, tinder experiments, articles on things like halo effect and people's comments online you've seen don't count as real life experience.
Who tf are you to say you can't get things in life with enough effort? You are neither wise enough nor figured out life to be making such assumptions for other people with entirely different lives and circumstances you know nothing about, nobody is.
You can't succeed and accomplish your goals without effort, it's a fact. The more effort, the higher the chances. You haven't failed as long as you haven't given up trying.
@@DestroAzureDx I see you replying to other comments in favour of this 'Looksmaxxing'. And either you are sincerely depressed as a grown-up, or just not hit your twenties yet. If you really think that everything is based on looks, you have absolutely fallen into a deep black hole, and will probably never get anything done based on 'effort', since you should 'just give up', because you didn't meet the quota of looking like Brad Pitt. What a waste of years and time thinking about stuff like this. You also state that having 'confidence' is equal to your looks, which is just untrue. People who only cares about their looks (good looking or not), will always end up drawing parallels between their self-worth and their looks. Which at the end of the day only comes from validation from other people, wether you look good or not.

True, the secret is knowing that you’re already good enough as you are
@@Blakoss That is not the secret lol. The world is a cold world. Most girls already think most guys look like sleeze doritto smelling gamers. Being yourself is not it. You always have to looksmaxx, it's that it's been overly used. But the concept is a time old ordeal. It's why 40% genetically procreated but 99% of women in history procreated. It's because the 40% improved themselves, whether with land, reputation or looks. Same ordeal is seen today, but more men are becoming less attractive to most women as studies are almost making this a meta-analysis level agreement....
So yeah, don't be yourself. Be the best version of yourself [which is what looksmaxx is...]
@@stresseddude the best version of yourself is the one that can accept yourself as you are, flaws and all things you can’t change, obviously take showers). You do that and you’ll have a gf, they aren’t in short supply, there’s billions of them and a lot of them feel as neglected as these men do

I'd hate to get super personal, but I really appreciate your coverage on this topic, and it's comforting to hear someone speak about it as a person who has been affected by this type of content.
And being socially awkward and having difficulty making friends really added to the whole thing.
I would never hear anything positive.
It really pisses me off looking back on it just how much this stuff is blatantly targeted towards the younger generations and just how easily accessible it is. Nobody should have to have to ever experience what I, as well as many others, have felt about ourselves because of the messages being spread in the content you see online.
Although I have since gotten a little better, I still have periodic doubts about myself, but seeing you speak out against it really comforts me.
Thank you, Charlie.

Simply a reflection of the times we live in. Most people meet through online dating and more young men are single than ever so it should be expected that more young men begin to think this way.
@@ponternal Exactly. @OP men will become more desperate. And what ever seems to be attainable that is attractive to women men gonna clamor to that thing.
@@ponternal Agreed. That's pretty much why the whole looksmaxxing thing is blowing up now. A lot of dudes feel like it's over for them unless they somehow reach this insane standard of masculinity and male beauty. Of course that sounds ridiculous, but they only think that way because they have so much trouble finding someone by just being themselves. It's really sad honestly, but it's true.
Fr, I liked it when it was just fix your hair, fix your posture. This has been taken way too far.
(Long rant about looksmaxxing)
Mewing is just the right position of the tongue.

All this stuff about categorizing and ranking people’s natural features feels very eugenics adjacent
Exactly
Yep, but we have to consider that modern dating is very eugenics adjacent too. It's just a symptom of the cause.
Well, I'm sure it must be horrifically difficult for these types of people to live with themselves as they are. I mean, if they were successful and happy, they wouldn't be doing this stuff. When it comes to having "inferior genetics" that you can't change, finding reasons to live probably isn't easy.
Blah blah shut up and start mewing
A lot of dating is eugenics. Don't fit certain beauty standards? You're not gonna really get anyone. Also people's reactions to snakes, spiders, and sharks are all extreme examples of the beauty standards and ugly bias. How many people kill spiders because they look creepy? Cows kill more people than sharks every year but most people are way more scared of sharks.
This is ridiculous as a woman I've never walked away from someone for any of the things these bozos are so worried about.. honestly like Charlie said good hygiene goes a long way none of these other things should be taken to this extreme 🤡
A lot of them are not bozos they are just impressionable teenage boys
as a woman, we been "looksmaxxing" for centuries

I thought lookmaxxing would be something like, making sure you look hot, tryharding it, going out so everyone sees you at your max, then going inside again and not leaving the house for the day unless you look hot af (which means i would never leave)
The best piece of advice I have ever heard similar to this is something along the lines of "none of those 3rd member growers or extenders work, because if they did they would be everywhere and literally everyone would be using them"
A kinda similar thing happened with diet pills, most people knew they were a scam and wouldn't take them, but once Ozempic came around literally everyone was using it because it actually worked (you shouldnt actually take it to lose weight, but its a good example of this case)
If the same thing existed for growing your 3rd member the same thing would happen, but it never has, ie meaning none of them actual work lmao
There’s actual testimonials including myself, however the ROI is extremelllly bad, I wore it for 4 months 30 hours a week during Covid and actually did gain 1 cm, with tons of before and after so it’s not just angles. You have to socially cripple yourself, but since it was Covid I took advantage of
I’ve been doing penis enlargement for 10 years now, 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, even while sleeping.
I have a 3 hour manual routine, in combo with stretching, upward power jelqing, table kegel stretches X 3 rounds.
I have a massive hog now, but I won’t quit until I hit 13 inches by 9 around. Then I can die happy
Body dysmorphia in men is on the rise sadly
All thanks to women’s dating standards and preferences. Islam is right about women
I looked at mewing like 5-6 years ago and found a Reddit post talking about getting body dysmorphia from the whole thing. I thought to myself how could this be possible and that it could never happen to me. Never joined forums or anything like that. I just read Reddit posts and saw some videos about it for a couple of months.
6 years later I have severe body dysmorphia. I can’t go outside or near people without trying to get a better angle of how people view my face and other stupid things like this. I know people don’t know I do this but it’s fucking me everyday of my life now and I can’t stop it.
@dirkorwhat im so sorry you're going through that. mewing almost did that to me. Ik it can be difficult but really try a therapist. They could help you. Otherwise, maybe some exposure type therapies.
I've never heard of this, and I'm 30. I love finding out some wild shit you've never heard of. I guess I've never heard of it because I've always been comfortable with myself, so I wasn't like looking into making it better, ya know? This is very interesting 🤔
its over for bro
Hearing a fellow short king say that my mediocre wiener is, in fact, valid and acceptable is exactly what I needed to hear. Thx brother ✊ this is true body positivity
If your Weiner is at least 6in your fine
@@kirk5649And even if it's below, it's fine.
Having a big one isn't all that great, gets in the way random boners from walking & rubbing against the thigh...joggers are hard to wear really jeans are the only thing I can wear without them knowing I'm hogging
its better to be the avarage winner, than the avarage loser
Idk if you're into ladies, but if you are I can assure you that, as a woman, the vast majority of us are not fixated on penis size and shape despite many people online seeming to think we are
What about lookminning

The Jelker seems like it’d be a wild supervillain
5:08 “trying to claw a couple millimeters away from destiny” is a hilariously epic line.
Almost makes the idea sounds cool
How do you even learn to talk like this
Stretching tissue will not make it grow it will deform it, it will make it longer but the spongy build of the tissue will definitely get damaged
3:06 Oh God it's been a while since I laughed so hard. Good way to end a Sunday before the start of a good work week lol
What baffles me is that people go to the internet of all places to ask people if they're ugly.
Fr those ppl jus stupid n don’t look at things ina bigger picture or perceptives
Why wouldn't the internet be a valid place to ask? Are you and I not real human beings communicating right now? You have the ability to reach are much larger audience online than you ever could in person. People online are more likely to give you more honest feedback due to anonymity. Your grandmother is obviously going to call you handsome to spare your feelings.
@adamg6711 yeah go to ask anonymous people online that are just gonna tell you to ropesmax. Ive seen more people get mobbed on r/looksmaxxing than receive helpful feedback
@adamg6711 Most people on the internet lie and project their hate and insecurities onto others. So no. The internet is the worst place to go.
@@wrathofthelamb318Nah, people on the internet are sincere. Stop coping, you were called ugly on the internet bc you are, not because “people are mean”
