You should make the top floor room the storage for all your files and the first floor for printing so that your couriers don't have to ride the elevator
having IT/maintenance come an hour before your employees and cleaning come an hour after your employees would probably help make the best use of their time similarly - make couriers come AFTER employees are gone and done taking the elevator so they arent waiting so long
I don't know what episode you're currently on, Dylan from the future who may or may not be reading this comment, but I feel it important to mention that you need to be absolutely ON TOP of fixing bugs for your software post-release. At least every month you should release an update that gets the verified bugs down, it helps keep your product on top of the game's algorithm since releasing updates renews the product's in-game lifecycle timer. Plus, releasing updates also keeps tech levels up to date, another thing that is of utmost importance to keeping your product relevant.
Don't know what would be worse, being the security guard who has to sit there watching programmers sit at computers all day or being a programmer knowing that someone is constantly watching you. Shouldn't the cameras only be needed for the external doors to watch for "them damn burgers" or do security also report fires, broken equipment and people slacking off?
the security overkill is hilarious 😆 when I moved to the skyscraper all I had was 3 ppl at all times; one works the cameras, the other 2 guard the entrances. that's all you should need fr plus, u don't rly need to assign them anywhere. they automatically go to the doors and security room.
The fine for missing your tax report was $78k so as long as when you increase the team, you spend less than that, the accountants are paying for themselves, plus they'll be doing additional optimisation on top.
Can't remember if I said this on a past episode, but from what I can tell you just need to make sure the doors are manned 24h (easier is there is just one enterance to the building) - this is what I do and don't have to deal with security cameras/security desks. In my current save the robbers always get chased off.
One time I had a security desk posted at a door for a printing building. Burglars pulled up to the building in the delivery only parking during the shift change and robbed the building during the time it toom the security guard to walk from the parking lots to the desk 😭
If you keep the combined printer/server room, you could get 4 printers and make it look better by doing 2 sets of 2 printers side by side, taking them both up and not taking the conveyor belts down until you're taking them to the pallets.
Hard to explain all this in just a Comment but you can project manage all your releases together or separately to just do updates and support as well as print/order copies when needed and have the updates and support be done automatically. And just for clarification the project management does not mean your having your teams create new games you are just having them automatically doing updates support and whatever else saves a lot of time and helps manage everything so you don’t get overwhelmed.
Also I say we start a petition to have conflict nerd do software inc twice a year with each series having a different focus like games-antivirus-2d editor etc.
When you move buildings - before moving select the entire, select all items and send to inventory. This way you're not buying everything new again. Consider this process like a removal service.
From my experience, assigning the chairs in your leader offices to the leaders is more effective at getting them to use the office exclusively. Setting the rooms to be for X role only doesn't seem to work consistently even when the leaders have the private office requirement.
@@TheXLAXLimpLungs I don’t think you can build your own walls in a rented building. Since the founder demand to have their own office then you can’t make a smaller room for them.
Maybe swap the servers and the printing room. Should make the travel time shorter for the couriers. Printing should be on the ground floor and server should be up high away from drip hazards from the floors above.

If you set specific parking spaces for delivery right next to the doors in the parking garage this should help with the courier issue too.

The thieves bought the new car from the proceeds of pawning your stolen awards!
I just got this game because of this series, and have been playing along side the series! It’s been very fun, so keep it up!

Not me repeating "Market Reverb III" Multiple times at 24:42 only to see you clear the alert without reading it... 😅

In my experience, I made the most money with patenting 2D research. System was high up there, but 2D always seemed to be the leader.
I think you need a receptionist to get companies to use Nexas.
He did

Don’t forget to make night team crews to help

I think you can optimize your company by doing 2 shift (night & day). especially support team, update & porting team.
Oi.. Nerd! **1984** You said 84! Hahahaha! It happens. But now wish we had 2030's tech in present day.
Sargent Stabby Face 2: The Second Stabbing
This building sure could use a floor or two with less huge offices for the needy founders

Commenting this at the start of the video (ignore me if its addressed), but Sergent Stabbyface 2: Stab back to reality
For a city builder, you should call it skylines
You shouldn't put distribution at the top because the couriers waste a lot of time in their hours going up and down
Space Command 4 when? Or are we getting Space Command: New Vegas first?
I know printing is good but u could just have ordered copie from start to get more mobey
Love the series
Does marketing before alpha will potentially increase the sales and increase the recognition of the company in the game ?
Decided to do another playthrough this weekend after watching the series... Made $30 million doing support deals for everyone else's apps
You should make around the year 2000 a simulation game and call it The People (you can guess what its trying to clone)
Wouldn’t you prefer severs on the basement
If the building has one.
I had 4x more than you at 1994 and then lost it by 2010 i strive to be educated in how to not lose 😭
Cant you set camera on the outside?
Hey, don't spam that press release; just do it every three months in the game, okay? You can spam the press build more.
Time for a new game, Rocket Man
You didn’t hire a receptionist
Name for computer OS: Vision 2000 or Vision XP
couriers having to go up like 6 floors to carry 3 boxes :( rip
I’d really like to know what those color numbers are lol
this is the best ep
Did you just cancel support for Pixel while you're still using it to make your other software and games??
Should market sooner
I think your servers are super underpowered for how many people are using them, esp the store might wanna check to be sure
they're at like 3% utilisation max
😁
