Hello, congratulations! Can you please tell me what kind of stand you use? I have VPC1, and there are no nice home stands with good built and design for heavy Kawai keyboards..
Hi, I made the stand myself. It's not furniture quality, but it's sufficient for my basement. You can see some pictures of it in the piano world forum. Follow this link: forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/2685489/got-my-new-mp-11se-with-a-little-hiccup.html#Post2685489
Hey Apostolosthefirst, The stand holdng the music stand and the monitor, is that custom made? Or can you buy it somewhere? Currently, I am a little creative using an Ikea table leg to have my monitor on top of it behind my Roland FP-4F, but your setup seems a lot more convenient. By the way, I like your technique: very controlled and delicate. Regards, Manolito Mystiq
Hi, the table/stand I built out of cheap lumber. You can see some pictures of on piano forum. Follow the link. forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/2692410/digital-piano-and-monitor-placement.html#Post2692410 It's pretty simple to make something fairly cheap. However, it might not look real pretty in a family room. What I built is good for being used down in my basement. Thanks for sharing.
Nice playing man, is that a built in sample how do you like the MP11SE,i have the Yamaha CP88 but am thinking of buying the MP11SE, whats that software your using on your Screen.
I like your second tier setup. I have a custom desk with my mp7 on drawer slides. I think I will go for the hybrid next not the mp11 but its a lot bigger and priceyier at 8k
Wow, the Novus NV10 (hybrid) looks really nice. It's like having a real piano. I think it's actually better than having a real piano. You'll have a real acoustic grand piano action, but you all have different piano sounds and the ability to play with headphones or quietly at night if you don't want to disturb anybody. I think you'll be really happy with the NV10 (I know I would be).
yah the novus is great. but 8k is quite a reach for me! To be honest my MP7 is just ducky. I have ribbon tweeter truth monitors and it sounds great. I should play amazing grace on it and record it for you as a video reply. the new Shiguri piano is supposed to be an improvement. I can tell you at the time I got the MP7 the forte had the better sound. so I'm glad they kept working on it. The MP7 is amazing how much it has in it. If you have a small studio and multiple synths, its a great controller to put it all together, much more so than the mp11. And it has 256 sounds including ORGAN! but it lacks 8 drawbars (only 4) which is a bit ghastly. The thing that surprised me about the kawai was how great the other sounds were. Looked at a MOX8 and the other sounds were junk! The other thing is, have you used the feature where you record your playing to set the levels? That makes a HUGE difference. Few boards do that. anyways, congrats. I hope to at least play on a NV10 somewhere someday. it will be an experience. my friend has a 50k kawai grand piano and ... he drools over the sound of the mp7. he also didnt complain about the key action at all!
How's the action is it weighted really good? Or does it have a lighter weighted feel to it? I'm looking into the se line for the mp11se. Wanting more of a weighted feel. Also thought about the es8.
Hi, I owned an ES8 prior to the MP11SE and the MP11 feels more like some of the acoustic grand pianos I've played. I think the ES8 has the best plastic action available and the MP11SE has the best action on a digital slab piano. Thanks for the question. God Bless, David
Hi, the MP11 and MP11SE have the same actions (grand feel). I think there is a difference in the sound engine. The MP11SE has Kawai's most current SK and EX concert grand sounds.God Bless, David

I'm on piano world, but I don't know if I'm the guy you are referring to. I built the piano stand myself. It's a crude design with construction grade lumber that works well down in my basement. God Bless, David
Thank you, my noble friend, pianist! This link above is from the midi file. When rendering you can send the WAV file to sargentobolzon@yahoo.com.br You can make the Concert Grand Many thanks master!
Such a gorgeous arrangement

David, question for you. Do you feel there is a big difference between the MP11 and MP11SE in terms of action? Thank you and God bless! :)

Apostolosthefirst did you feel more connection to the piano with es8 because of internal speakers?
What a nice simple solution....did you attach this stand to the fixing points for the musicstand?? so that it cannot fall backwards??

@@Comfort_One_Another no, i mean the whole setup; i asume it rests on the floor, but is also attached to the MP to prevent it from falling backwards??

@@Comfort_One_Another Thanks a lot for the pics...you really have a very classical and nice setup there.........
I read a post on pianoworld forum today and his setup is so similar to you. Are you that guy? By the way, where did you buy that desk?

which piano plugin is that? Thanks!
If I remember correctly, it's just the Kawai SK-EX internal sound in the Mp11SE.
Sampler do piano no meio e a grande dificuldade os graves e agudos dao mt bons mas a regiao central e som eletrônico da para perceber
Very good my friend! If I send a MIDI to you, would you kindly render it in your DAW, using this beauty Piano , and send the WAV file to me?
Sure. I can do that. Are you a member of pianoworld.com

Thank you, my noble friend, pianist!
This link above is from the midi file.
When rendering you can send the WAV file to sargentobolzon@yahoo.com.br
You can make the Concert Grand
Many thanks master!
I'm sorry, I thought I knew how to do that, but I don't.
