Always looks so nice and colourful when it gets dark Geoff. I never feel like going for a walk when it gets dark, even on holiday as there are very few places are lit up like over there. Thank you Julie. Yes it does seem reasonably ok to be able to walk here at night. There are a lot of people about and the place is well lit in virtually every part of the strip and stays that way all through the night. I always remember one of the first times that I visited and looking out of the hotel room window to see all the light and colour outside, then during the early morning I had a peep through the curtains to see it was just as much alive but minus most of the people. There are several places open 24/7 like Petrol Garages, 7/11 stores, Supermarkets, Wallgreens and CVC pharmacies which also have groceries and gifts, all lit up and still able to serve you a cup of coffee and sandwich if you still want one. Thanks John. Orlando is 5 hours behind you. so at the time of your post at 16:14 it was 11:14 am here. Always odd to think that times like 8pm at night when I'm walking about that it's 1am uk time and so on but all the life is happening here. Actually all the lights are on all through the night until first light of morning. I look out the hotel room window and see everything all lit up, then when I wake in the early hours of the morning and take a peep through the curtains it's still all exactly the same, except for the people as they too will be sleeping.
