I just purchased the Mulberry Zipped Bayswater to be my new work bag. In this video I'll unbox my new bag for you, provide my first impressions and share what I plan to carry in it, including whether it fits my laptop. Hope you enjoy!

I wish every single bag unboxing/overview would be done like yours: no off-topic rambling, no 20 extra minutes of social media handle plugging, no "i love you guys soo much!" superfluous words that mean nothing, and no gratuitous intro sequence.
I now know more about the Mulberry Zipped Bayswater than I did after watching 8-10 other videos purportedly on the same topic. Thank you so much.

I totally agree that it is so much more interesting visually and helpful when the interior of the bag is a contrasting lighter color. Great video, I always love the bag ones😍😍

I remember from trying it that a folder/documents fit perfectly (similarly to your laptop) and your measurements helped confirm that memory. Thanks for sharing!

Great review. I found the interior dimensions to be particularly helpful. I’ve always been impressed with the quality of Mulberry’s leather. It seems as nice or nicer than luxury brands that are much more expensive. Enjoy your new bag!

I just bought this bag on a pre-loved site! I have it in black and just bought the Oxblood-can’t wait for it to arrive!

To answer your questions, I have not treated it with anything. I never do on any of my bags. I have no water stains and have used it in the rain...nothing torrential, but’s it’s definitely gotten wet and you can’t tell. I think it’s a very practical bag. As for durability, I don’t have much time with mine yet, but am definitely not overly gentle with it. It looks great so far and I expect it to continue. That’s one of the reasons I chose it!

I purchased this bag in the small size in Blush during the sales and absolutely love it. Even the small is quite large and fits everything I need with plenty of space to spare. I like that the opening opens wide so I can see everything at a quick glance too - no rummaging around for my keys.

My laptop is 13x8.5x0.25 in inches. It gets a little full by the time I add my power supply, notebook and headset, but I can make it work. I love the bag! Thanks for watching!!
Great video! Why did you change work bags? Didnt you like the Givenchy?
Options??!! 😊 I actually love my Givenchy. I just changed back in to it a couple of weeks ago after carrying my Mulberry for several months. But when I need to carry around my laptop more, my Antigona just isn’t as easy to use as I’d like. It will work, but when I know I need to carry my laptop a lot, my Mulberry just works better. Do you think the Oxblood color bag can be worn all year, particularly in the summer?
I wear mine throughout the year. I personally think a color like this is more versatile than black because it can be worn with pretty much any color and isn’t as dark and stark as black can be with a summery palette. Hope you love it!
Back again…after having used both bags, which do you like better, the large zipped Bayswater or the Givenchy Antigona? After watching this video, I’m now very intrigued by the Antigona.
Hey again! What a great question…I love the shape and lines of the Antigona, but I think the Bayswater is easier to wear. And I think the functionality is just a bit better. I’ve definitely worn the Bayswater more than my Antigona. That said I don’t plan to part with either! 😀

Hi thanks for the very informative video. Can you please share the measurement of the handle drop? I just want to confirm if the bag can be comfortably worn over the shoulder even if I am wearing a winter coat. Thanks in advance.
Sure! The handle drop is just a little less than 7 inches. I can still wear it over the shoulder, even with a heavy coat, though the handles aren’t quite as long as traditional tote straps. It does get a smidge bulky feeling at that point. But I do think it straddles the line between being able to carry on the shoulder or in the crook of the arm. I sometimes find tote straps to be too long for that. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!!

You’re welcome! Your question prompted me to do a little research. Mine was purchased about 9 months ago. It looks like they no longer make my bag. It was simply called the Zipped Bayswater. No size denotation. They also made the small and mini which looks like they’ve continued with. You will probably have to go to the resale market to find my size. I love mine. For a work bag, I wouldn’t want any smaller. Good luck if you look for one!!

Is this size still sold? On the Mulberry website I only see the small and mini zipped bayswater. Any idea where I can get this size?
Unfortunately I don't think it is. :-( Its been discontinued for over a year now, so not sure you can find it anywhere other than the resale market. I do see them pop up on sites like Fashionphile from time to time. I have a search set up for them because I wouldn't mind adding this bag in a summerier color to my collection someday. Do you still live your zipped large? There is one out there preloved but for the price point, I want to do my research! Is it super heavy when packed and do you still use it
Hi! I still own and use my Bayswater, especially in the winter months due to the color. It’s held up well, with very little wear. Its probably in the medium range of weight for a bag it’s size. It’s not the lightest bag in the world, but I certainly have heavier. If you can find a preloved one in decent condition, I think it’s a good option for a bag this size. Its so hard to find structured bags that hold this amount these days. Everything is either small or overly malleable. Good luck with your decision!

Hi! No, this size doesn’t have a size designation. It’s larger than the small. I don’t think they carry it on the Mulberry site anymore but you can sometimes find it in stores and on the preloved market. It’s a great size if you need to carry a laptop, files or other larger items. Thanks for watching!!
Excellent review! I watched it three times as I'm seriously considering buying one I found from a site for preloved items. Is it possible for you to confirm the product code? I found the following code from the site I'm thinking of buying from, but would like to make sure it's the same bag you have. I'm looking for a work bag for a professional corporate environment. Thank you for such amazing feedback! It’s so nice to know my video is helpful to others. 😊 I confirmed it’s the same product code as my bag. It sounds like your laptop is about 0.25-0.5 inch bigger length and width-wise than mine so I measured the bag. I’d say it would technically fit and you could still zip, but the zipper might stick up from where it normally lays and you wouldn’t want to overstuff the bag otherwise. But it truly is a gorgeous, professional bag. I would definitely purchase again. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!!

Hi does this bag not come with a strap?
No, not in this size. Some (all?) of the smaller sizes do come with a strap. I find the handles are long enough to not need a strap on this one though. Hope that helps!
I bet you could take it to a handbag repair shop and they could add rings somewhere so you could add a strap.
FYI, the LV Neverfull GM supposedly holds up to 200 pounds! My shoulders can't!
Wow! That seems unbelievable...but then again I certainly won’t be testing that much weight either! Thanks for sharing that interesting fact!
@@themadeupokie All the bags are filled with weights and left suspended for a minimum of three days to test weight limits. So yeah! The Neverfulls can hold a LOT without breaking.
You can also see a video on youtube of people testing them: there's a video of a person literally being carried in a GM neverfull and it holds fine

My bag scratched sooo easily so disappointed...
Oh no! What a bummer. What kind of leather is it? Luckily I’ve not had any trouble with my pebbled leather.
