This was one of the coolest conferences I have seen. Israel defending Joe, was beyond awesome. The energy, the respect between all four fighters was refreshing. In the world we've been living in lately, it's great to see some humility, respect and composure.
I've always been a fan of Izzy, but man I'm an even bigger fan after that. Gotta love it

I love this UFC because it feels just so laid back and chill compared to past UFC’s where there’s just so much tension in the air between fighters and even in the stands

There's definitely a time and place for those heated conferences but if there's no real bad blood it is refreshing to see the fighters being real and respecting each other instead of trying to cause drama for no reason
Bad blood filled press conferences lose their edge when fighters start beef every. single. time. You need these chill, laid back, honest and respectful interviews more often to stop constant tension and drama from becoming stale and boring.

Covid makes it seem like it was forever ago but it was only two years, I actually started watch the ufc because of covid. ufc was the only sporting event going on during the pandemic

The fighting is phenomenal, but what really makes this sport is the fighters. Brash, cocky, chill or humble, purely genuine with alot of respect to go around.

That’s one of the many things I love about MMA. Growing up here in Europe I used to watch a lot of football (soccer) and no offense but the interviews with the players are always extremely uneventful, predictable and straight up boring. If you’ve seen one interview then you’ve seen them all, basically. But with fighters you never know what’s gonna happen, and that’s what makes it so exciting. Everyone has their own unique personality and always makes the interviews and press conferences enjoyable to watch/listen to.
