I mean he a baby in the paint. He just a offensive big. Still not gonna help in the paint and rebounds against these big and physical bigs in the nba. He is kinda the same as Orlando Robinso sadly
Would been not have been happy if Edey was available and turned out to be great which he has potential. But I wouldn’t have picked him, not a good fit wit heat
@@msullivan40 I mean he a baby in the paint. He just a offensive big. Still not gonna help in the paint and rebounds against these big and physical bigs in the nba. He is kinda the same as Orlando Robinso sadly
Until I see otherwise, this player will be starting at the 4. basically Bosch lite. You cannot stack a lot of weight on that frame, without knee problems.
@@julioinfanteramos6535 well they clearly saw something in him when he worked out with them and see they can build with him. And I’m pretty sure the “motor” issue was when he was in Oregon. He left Oregon to play for Indiana and the coach got him straight, was way better there which is what rose his stock.
Wes and David for those Edy fans who think that Ware was selected because Edy was off the board. Here is what the Heats vice president of Basketball ops said yesterday "We weren’t sure if Kel’el would get to us,” Simon said. “So we were looking at different options, potentially to move up. But when he was there, there were a couple of picks left, and we felt it was a good chance for him to get to us. And certainly, we were excited by that.”
I like Ware, but we still need to upgrade in the back court? Is Ware gonna be the starter in front of Jovic? Or is he soley a backup Center? Still too many questions
There's no way we draft him at 15, need size next to Bam and send him to play in the G-league. Negative. He's going to be pivotal this season. We need size now
Exactly he dont need to do nun special THIS szn but rebound & shot block if the mf hit some threes hoorayy but szn 2 you will see how the heat roll with him
These 2 sound like a bunch of haters what the hell we need a guard for and we have Tyler, Duncan, & Terry??? We need a center and we drafted a center case closed its a W FOR MIAMI
I mean he a baby in the paint. He just a offensive big. Still not gonna help in the paint and rebounds against these big and physical bigs in the nba. He is kinda the same as Orlando Robinso sadly
He just need to add some weight on him and he will be fine he have a legit 7ft now that cam stretch and guard the paint and we can put bam at the 4 and let him cook vs making bam do everything on defence it's a good fit
I disagree with David I dont think Kal’el Ware will spend time in Sioux Falls, he’s gonna come off the bench and be a back up big his first year and contribute right away, they need his size and athleticism, he’s not Orlando Robinson
In 1-year Ware will surpass Edey who is way slow. Way better than Whiteside and huge potential to score 30 in many games. Heat fans you will love the soft spoken guy from Little Rock.
I feel like this move reeks of run it back. How do you make a backcourt of Terry and Tyler work on defense? Put Jimmy, Bam and a guy like Ware behind them.
Yes, unfortunately, that's what it is. Spo better get creative offensively cause right now Tyler/Duncan defensively is a problem. Offensively, Tyler doesn't mesh with neither Rozier or Butler, and the Heat still needs a consistent efficient scorer😢
Would not surprise me if Ware eventually gets bundled into a trade package for an aging, past his prime, veteran (like they've recently tried to do with Jaquez, Jovic, etc.)

Why
Why Ware over Eddy?
@@JDJHB117 because he was picked at 9th?
I mean grizzles got a steal bro. Happy for edddy tho. More opportunities and minutes on the grizzlies than the heat. They gonna be a big threat bro.

Watch Spo turn Ware into a HEALTHY version of Embiid 😄
AD if he works his ass off!
I was thinking Bosch lite.
So happy that we got a center versus a guard. We need to move Bam back to the 4 and get more athletic which this pick does
I definitely agree. Bam should be a 4. Let this pick play 5.
he has the frame to add muscle
Until I see otherwise, this player will be starting at the 4. basically Bosch lite.

Lets go Heat 🔥
Saying Ware gonna get pushed around??? KP, Chet and Lively are all slim bigs that didn’t get pushed around 💯💯💯💯💯
Cher do get pushed around 🤧
Ware's motor is the biggest concern. Hopefully, Spo has the patience he didn't have with Beasley

Carter was never gonna fall all the way to 15 Ware has a high ceiling let’s see what the coaching staff can do to nurture his talent

Especially Wes can deff be negative at times & think he know everything
This is a prove it year for EVERYONE BUT BAM they want big contracts they gotta EARN IT 💯💯💯
Heat had elite size with Shaq and it earned them a chip.
Wade won them that chip, not Shaq

Whiteside had "elite" size too 😬

Tristen Newton fills both needs for the Heat as far as a Wing sized Guard
Great vid
Ware was the guy all along. Defense is going to be scary! Imagine the longterm lineup of Ware, Bam, Niko at the 3 and Jaime at the 2!
It's easy to say he was "always the guy" when the better options were off the board

Get Ware cultured and actually play him, beside Bam. Go Heat!
