It does!!! It happened to me when I was a CNA, but, it wasn't a resident it was a another CNA. By the grace of God, the resident was lucid when she was asked about and said the same thing Tracy said, "she loves me. She would never hurt me". I was on the verge of not only getting fired but having charges pressed all because of a racist, lying CNA.
Happened to a coworker RN of mine. A patient stated this RN threatened him and tried to hit him, which was TOTALLY UNTRUE.. DON took him off the floor and put him behind a desk for 3 months while they “investigated”.. he almost lost his job and license even though there was a Dr and coworkers and witnesses who said it did not happen.. as a matter of fact, the patient tried to hit the RN, and the RN deflected the punch and walked away.. it came down to “he said, she said” kind of thing.. Ain’t worth the damn money to be in the medical field, dealing with this crap.
It is sad but in real life the Nurses who.are abusing or neglecting patients do not get caught ,but I feel bad for the ones who are doing their jobs and not hurting the patient but getting accused of stuff.

Exactly why I stay out of nursing homes and off of 1st shift cause it's Too many Cheifs and not enough Indians
Yep I got fired from my first CNA job because I drove a 16 hour drive from Arizona straight to work to work over time for them and then fell asleep in my car on break. The called me 2 days later and fired me saying I was gone from the hall longer than 10 minutes over break. Yet the real reason they fired me was because I told them the other CNAs who had worked there for 14 years were taking 2 hour breaks and making me do all the work. So those CNAs ganged up on me against the head nurse and got me fired. And the head nurse had my back
I lost my job because of something like this then I went and got the reports stating I was not working and show them documentation that I was somewhere else so there was no way I could be working 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
As a person who has literally been charged with cruelty to the elderly with no proof then to have the charges dropped due to lack of evidence you made me laugh but being charged with this bogus crime still haunts me..

My daughter is a CNA n everything you be doing is exactly what she be going through she be doing 12 hrs n they call her on her off days but as soon as she slow down they want to talk shit they make me want to go up there n give all of them the clap clap
