Here it is, the most EXPENSIVE rental apartment in Los Angeles! Would you live here?
Their is a fake, making out to be you in the comments. But I bet thats nothing new.
Yeah, I might live here for like $3k a month. Nothing more.
Maybe 6.5k a month,
Ch Bhatti Ch Bhatti Ch Bhatti
Yesssssss! But I was like nope at first when I realized it’s not NYC. Lol. But that pool and rock wall…i could make it work.
It's a very impressive apartment but looks like a massive 'flex' rather than somewhere I'd actually want to live. Bigger isn't always better, sometimes it's comical.
It looks bigger than it actually is because it's not been staged....
it nice
@@Mee399 the floor space does I agree but it was the ceiling heights that put me off. 12-15 foot is good for me, maybe more in a living room or great room. 23 foot, in a bathroom or bedroom feels like a waste of the space.
@@tobias-hastings now imagine huge chandeliers hanging to the ceiling...
@@Mee399 ... I've done that, as large as taking up the upper half of the room, and still think the ceilings are far too high. I also wouldn't be keen on having a large light fixture of any kind in my bedroom or bathroom.
It's fine for us to have different opinions by the way.
I love watching these videos to remind myself how poor I am.
Same :/
You should start your own business now
Work to atleast that extent that you can easily eat food wear normal clothes and have not that luxury but satisfied happy family life.
So save money as covid-19 pandemic gives us a great lesson that saving money is very important as in difficult times atleast we should have enough savings to atleast eat satisfying food.
Not worth the money
Even if i had that much money wouldn’t spend it like this i rather live normally and keep investing in stocks
This looks more like a club than a living space.
Would be great on Airbnb
Actually worse than a club... It's an office lobby.
It looks like a cold empty warehouse, without the staging.
But that would cost too much?
did you hear the loud nois from the plane engins.. i think the planes from la airport are flying directly above
Erik: Keep this shut to keep it nice and chilli
Also Erik: leaves the door open...
Came looking for this xD
lol

Glad to see they finally finished construction on the big building in GTA:V. Looks great!
Lol.
In my head, someone who got the money to pay $125K a mounth, isn't renting anything
Not everyone wants to buy. Pros and cons to everything. What if you're only in LA for a year? What if you want to be able to walk away after the lease is over without having to put your home on the market and hoping to find a buyer? There are many strings attached with buying and it's not always the best option for everyone.
Probably would be a company providing for their employee, with a write-off stuck in there somewhere. There are ways around everything when it comes to corporations.
I can see it if they don't intend to stay in LA for longer than a couple years.
Eh not really. If you have unlimited disposable income it’s easier to just rent because you don’t have to deal with as much stuff as apposed to owning the property. Not the best financial move but if your that rich it doesn’t matter.
@@MikeKayK Many people do not realize this but its true. With renting, you are paying for the luxury to walk away whenever you want!
"The most expensive" has become a bragging point, hasnt it. This certainly has "wow-factor" But where is the craftsmanship, design, architecture. There is none. The whole thing is like a fancy office building or an abandoned theme hotel. Its just concrete, glass and steel like everything else. This will appeal to some Chinese or Arab businessman just for showing off.
I'd much rather get a Bungalow in the hills with a nice view.. The Penthouse is wayy over the top with a lot of unnecessary space and will always feel sterile with everything being white and super bright + these ridiculously high ceilings everywhere. I can see this being a large space for parties or other events but not as a home
Totally agree.
Bingo, perfectly stated.
Absolutely!
But it's not waste of money, you can look the whole la, not your little backyard
I agree, very flashy
Staging with furniture really helps visualize a space. Very hard to tell if I like this penthouse or not when it's cold and empty
its ironic, for the price of the property, they thought a million to stage it was too much
Makes me wonder about how cheap the owner is going to be when it comes to fixing stuff if they couldn't even bother to stage it.
it is crazy how much of a difference staging makes
@@erikvanconover Yeah. I guess like you said, the space is so huge staging it would be a major and expensive project. But makes you wonder which prospective renter would want to take on the headache of furnishing a space like that if they're only renting.
5 bedrooms with 10 BATHROOMS?
Guest: “so where’s the bathroom?”
Realtor: “where isn’t the bathroom?!”
For real…pick a door and you have a 66% chance of getting it right 😂
Absolutely love that hidden storage room above the closet. When you want to be away from all of the LA madness you can go in there.
It's such a cold design with so many harsh angles. The finishes don't seem particularly modern, either.
Double-height kitchen looks like my friend's grandma's kitchen, so 80s...
@@ikerdelpalacio5160 125K a month = X ladders! Elevators! Forget it...Accident haven.🚑
I agree dated and rickety ladders. How would any get furniture in that upper closet space. Weird angles and I call bullsh@##t on the staging. Where would you place the bed? Who would want that much cabinetry in a bedroom in a condo? The seller is saying this could be an office, event space or storage room. Definitely not a home.
I would not want to live in the downtown area anyway. Not the best part of LA by any means...
@@paulaltman9751 thanks to bidenites. If I was American I wouldn't live in those so-called "progressive" cities...
The attic storage space is a whole ass apartment in and of itself! 🤣

@@user-jt2pk1dk7i not you scamming its a black square not even a check I AM LAUGHING
Didn't he say that space would be $2000 in NYC? Really? I thought it was way more expensive in that city.
Next time you hear the news saying how bad the homeless problem in LA is just remember there are also people renting $125,000 a month penthouses. What a world we live in...
Nice to see it finally finished. I applaud the ambition in doing something LA hasn't necessarily been known for but it's nearly ten times too expensive given the misses: no private elevator, strange fold down ladders, and a weird, not-so-subtle bar in the middle of the master bedroom. It'll get used for private events and filming but I'm not sure it will rent it at that price. Especially since you'd have to furnish it and that's a serious challenge to do it in a way that won't look weird. Probably why they really didn't stage it. Furniture just doesn't fill 23 foot high spaces.
Exacly. No to mention the terrible acoustics.
Waste of space, totally unappealing for living, should have turned in into a nightclub.
@@lsamoa what are you talking about? :D Acoustics get better the higher the ceilings, with the right sound system you can get real premium club sound. All the best sound clubs are basically halls.
It does have a private elevator. That is an attic space, not a “strange fold down ladder”. It is normal to have a ladder like that. If you find things to nitpick at such a expensive property than you really would never be happy
@@hassankhokhar204 it has a private elevator within the levels of the penthouse but not to the penthouse.
High ceilings are cool and all but this just feels like a super fancy LA museum. I feel like it can never feel “home-y”
I think that's why it turned me off. It looks too formal and cold.
I don't think it's meant to feel like a home. Seems to me like it's meant to be a bachelor pad with major parties
Yea or it looks like somewhere the hype house would live in
He did say it’s designed for an “entertainer” so prolly a party house
Not for we in latin american where high ceilings are a necesity
Should rent this in 2020 when landlord cannot kick you out for not paying rent
Haha good one!
Lol would still need to be rich enough for that deposit first and last months rent 🤣
That's only if you can't afford to pay for it
No kidding I’m surprised some bottom feeding parasite didn’t try that out.
Eric, that introduction drone shot was amazing! Nice job! Love your channel!
I looks more like a venue but I love how open it is especially because I’ve lived in a condo and I feel like when your that high up bigger is definitely better
Imagine the button is broken and you're stuck in the ceiling
haha
😂😂🆘🆘🆘🆘😂😂😂😂😂🆘🆘🆘🆘
my thoughts or a blackout. at this cost, maybe there is a generator
*125k A MONTH!!!* 😳
That’s wild… when you’re a billionaire, 1.5M a year is nothing for them. They mostly make that in a day.
What I like from your videos is you get right to the point, thank you❤️
Well edited and filmed video. Also the presentation was great!
Imagine someone climbing that wine ladder drunk getting another bottle. Everywhere you look are ladders to climb. The ceiling height makes it look like your living in a food court atrium.
Just three words Erik: Over The Top !!
under the top
Awesome penthouse tour . You nailed it as usual 🙏🏻🌅🌅💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
The video turned out super! 😎
Keep up the good work! 💥
There is this weird thing in America where they actually think we, the ptential buyer of the property, cares about the realestate agent and his personal journey to success.
The view is the only thing I like about this place. I don't even think furniture could make this cold feeling space less cold.
Beautiful penthouse and views. I like the attic storage space too.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The views from this penthouse are breathtaking. However, what captured me at first glance was the climbing wall & swimming pool, plus the use of Carrara Marble which is my weakness.
3:05 ...you actually have this ladder to accidentally drop that expensive bottle of wine that for some reason you decided to place at the very top. Living on the highest shelf.
Can’t wait for your podcasts! Your mentality and motivation to continue the grind push me to work harder to pursue my goals
Podcast? Huh? Does Eric Conover have a podcast that i didnt know existed? 🤨 Whats the name?

They absolutely snapped on this apartment! Like the details are mind blowing
Why is it called the owners wing when it's rented! Does it come with a live-in landlord?!
I think it's because the term "Master" suite/bedroom has fallen out of favor.
I did a lot of glass work in that penthouse !!! It's gigantic in person !!! Did all the showers and that main one !!!! Exquisite glass!!!!!
I’m glad you get jobs like that. You must be really good!
Get it👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Question. Can people see in? It makes me uncomfy to think that anyone with a good camera or a telescope can see me in that shower. I’d rather stink. 🤔😩
@@Daaaanielle im sure you can close all the curtains
Woohoo! Highlight of my Monday
I love the chandeliers in this. Other than that all I could think about was how slick and hazardous marble floors in the bathroom would be.
Even if you had the money, common sense would say no.
nobody gona pay so much rent
Exactly! Even billionaires wouldn’t take the risk. They’d be spending 1,500,000 a year, which adds up quick
100% agrees. makes no sense.
You don’t understand, some people have huge egos man
Yeah, I’d much rather rent at 432 Park.
Gorgeous views! I always wonder who can afford to live in places like that. In LA with the entertainment industry, it's easier to see.
The 0.1% of 8 Billion is still 800000 people, most top athletes could afford, a lot of CEO's and billionaires that 125k is just pocket change for them
This is too much! Absolutely incredible
The interior of the penthouse is lovely, and you have a breathtaking view from the balcony. No wonder why it is expensive
I don’t get why people are obsessed with LA views it’s pretty ugly
I worked here and after 4 years of it being built it’s nice to finally see the final product.
What did u do for work
I still don't think if I was rich enough to buy a place like this that I would care to have an entire quarry's worth of marble in my home
Welcome to Cali!!! Amazing penthouse and video.
Best house I’ve seen you show so far🔥🔥
It's beautiful, but the excess is beyond staggering.
Best shite money can buy
The only Beautiful thing was the view
@@pillpollen3154 you are very right.
That ladder in the kitchen is silly🤨
all i could think about was how he left the wine cooler door open and the kitchen cabinet open omg
I been waiting for a huel discount to try it out. I appreciate that. Especially since I can’t buy the place at this time
That potential "safe space" in the attic hahahha that metal ladder would have gotten me killed immediately hahahahaha and who is carrying the garage door remote???
"Ya got that, Lenny? We gotta make sure nobody's in that safe room when we kidnap the movie star!"
"D'uh, okay, George!" 😆
What it doesn't show is when you walk outside the building there's people taking shits on the sidewalk. Homelessness and crime is rampant there.
13:57 same here. I was pre-med and now going into real estate. It’s the money man!
Drone footage and editing is on point
Funny that almost all extremely expensive homes are rentals, yet those same people always talk about assets
I guess very rich people buy this kind of properties and put them up for rent when they dont use it
Because your personal residence is a liability.
@@noodle-cup figured
@@frankthetank8216 na the real smart rich developed these kind of properties and before someone new and flashy buys them a person who would be able to buy only one kind of rich type like someone worth 200 300 million show offs. Or rich could also take a load against this set some money in another bank intrest from that pays of debt also this rent here and there helps gain profit untill this sells. This is just for someone stupid like a Kid who inherited his money and is on some spending spree of his trust
not me just finding out there’s a rock climbing wall in my apartment building and I can’t even use it… :( I’m so sad lol
Yaaaaas! Get your flex on king!!!
I love watching these videos to remind myself where I’ll be living soon
Amazing video
I always imagine that if money was no object, I'd have one of those beautiful, modern, $15-$25m Cali homes with incredible views on a hill. But whilst I was buying one, or having one built, I'd need some place to base, and this would probably do the job.
It's undoubtedly a beautiful home, and tbh, probably fairly priced for rental. I think some of the ladders are a bit unnecessary, ladders probably only belong in a library or going to an attic, not in the kitchen etc. But it's a unique and pretty massive home, huge ceilings that probably add to a massive home, and generally a pretty great place to camp out whilst my dream home is built! :)
“This would probably do the job” yeah it might who knows. It’s a bit underwhelming tbh
Looks amazing! Is the helipad only for the penthouse? I’d be so mad to spend $130k a month and have a chopper land on my roof 😂😂
Well if it's used by police choppers, you'll have exclusive info on the next police perp chase so you can tune in to your local cable news channel
Pc-Cathy... but when help is needed in a jiffy.. then... :))
Lol
TBH it's really used for emergency evacuations. There used to be a regulation in the city of Los Angeles where tall buildings had to have helipad for emergencies.
It’s probably gonna be your chopper that lands there
WOW! I don't remember this GTA update! So crazy cool!

All I can think of is that not even a $125.000 per month rent gives you a flawless living place. I saw some smaller issues in execution that had to be avoided for what they ask for. The view though, priceless.
This is what I was thinking. The chef's kitchen reads like a normal kitchen, not one for professional chefs, I mean even as am amateur chef I can point out things that wouldn't work. And the design itself is lackluster, cheap looking (I mean, in the master bath they couldn't get one large mirror?! C'mon, the seams look cheap) and not cohesive. Bleh.
The door in the first bar thingy he showed were not in perfect line and it bugs me so much.
The ladder in the kitchen can also be used to get rid of the old lady when
she gives you the Divorce papers
I enjoyed watching the 🎵🎶 video. 😁😁😁 I enjoyed it. (Laughs)

Looks and feels “cold”. The right furniture might help but still. It’s too massive. Insane. Plus it being in downtown LA! If your going to spend that kind of money per month it’s better in Century City or Beverly Hills. Miracle Mile.
The point is there is people that can really spend tons of money to rent such a massive apartment.

I think it doesnt give me more satisfaction as much as it sounds. At first few months it is wow.. but after that it just another apartment.

Why is it for rent versus sale. Who with the income to rent wouldn't prefer to just own outright?
Athletes who may get traded.
2 months rent in this penthouse can completely pay off my mortgage! Must be a blessing to be able to afford this
omfg i see this from my window so interesting to get a closer perspective lol!
Looks fantastic. I just wish the brains behind these projects would take acoustics into account. Some of those big rooms have nothing but hard reflective surfaces, making it sound horrible. 6 people talking at the same will sound like 600 in there.
Super noticeable when you walk outside, the sound becomes a LOT better.
Definitely would get this treated if I had enough money to actually rent it. The echo is just so distracting

Imagine signing a year-long lease and then realizing you could have just bought a nice house for the same price.
So cozy.
We'd have to move the attic stairs so they can be out all the time because that space would have to be more entertainment areas. Going up that way all the time. Move them to the corner maybe.
