Dearest Carl: The true Man of Steel.. an inspiration in resilience and positivity, you dont know how many nights Coney helped me survive those Northern Ontario roadways (I was a bushworker), especially that Black Hole Corridor between T Bay and The Sault. Fuel for the fire indeed. Im so glad we met several times pre and post accident; you were always a gentleman and powerful role model for living right on the road and a professional rocker, always good to his fans, no matter how exhausted you were from powerful, heart rending performances.... I know you didn't want to be a hero but someone DID force your hand; you truly are and so is all of your music. I have always used this song in my Walkman(what's thaaaat?) as motivation; as anger is my default, the white hotness is what kept me going in those bush camps for 3, 6 and 9 months at a time. I laugh at that question posted "would you live in this cabin with no electricity or internet for a month?: hahahahahahahaa... try 9 months with just books and the only other person was your dad who was the boss. A fabulous catalog both solo and Coney, lad, keep it going! love,
Wow. I'm glad I checked e-mails before bed. Well Zandar X (eef zat Iz your real name 😄) thank you for these words. They make me aware, once again, of the impact my actions have on the world around me. My wife says I should print your message and frame it to read again if I'm having a tough day. You have made a positive impact on me by your decision to compose this message. Thank you.
@@CarlDixonOfficial Wow back! I am glad I am still up to get your kind reply. I am truly moved by your kind words and salutation and your wifes vote of confidence in my humble words. Truly heartfelt brother. All the best to you all and we shall see you on the road.. (alzo you vill not be eh-bull to recognize me beCOZ of ze name... hahahaha). I see youre in England in October! At the site of the namesake of the band perhaps? Muswell Hatch Tour '24? Wouldn't that be a sight? hehe. All best,
One of the best voices in rock. Melodic and distinctive. There's not many voices left that you hear and say to yourself before even barely hearing the first note "That's ....". And the songs were always top drawer.

Nice
Banger tune. The remastered cd is worth it for this song alone.
